if gravity wasn't facing mounir he'd definitely made it to semi final, or final even. Mounir is ridiculous, always at 100% every round every battle, high difficulty maneuver, never crush, perfect fast execution, complex threads, absolutely one of the best out there, what a scary opponent to battle.

The key for gravity is putting a little bit more footwork in his sets to make them longer. Keep all the high energy moves but add a little bit of footwork in between them with smooth transitions and that is a recipe for a BC One Championship. He then starts to become a b-boy in the vein of Lilou. Of course this was all 8 years ago, so it doesn't matter.

simple answer to why Gravity lost... His sets were shorter. Gravity is so explosive, I think it forces him to cut his time on the floor. Got to build up the suspense to your moves to give the judges time to savior the moment.

Gravity's rounds are a bit short, but other than that, no crashes, great dynamics and awesome footwork on the beat. Mounir's stumbled a bit during his sets, but he has a great variety of moves on the beat and his sets are longer compared to Gravity's. I think that, in my opinion, Gravity should get an extra vote....

I got Mounir. slightly. His intricate foot work and better beat hits pull him through. Gravity has great power and he seemed to be pretty original, so he was definitely in this.

Damm, both were ridiculous, best I've ever seen up to date, I will be studying & practicing for days. That must have been a tough decision for the judges. I agree and disagree with 111newera. I believe both Mounir & Gravity were superior but not just in energy, moves, style and complexity. How I agree with 111newera is in my opinion Gravity should have won, BUT on ONE principle, SOUL, he was feeling the beat of the music and orchestrated his moves with the beat of the music. Mounir was fierce, and super tight but was just pulling amazing tricks and battling, but no soul. Even if you go to marker 2:05 you see the expression on Gravity's face like dam. Only difference between them was one had more SOUL than the other. It's hard to judge because both were so good, I just feel that BBoy is about dancing to the music, feeling it, then schooling your greatness.

Main reason Gravity lost was due to the fact he pulled out all his tricks in his battle against Ronnie and was repetitive in this battle. Except for his 3rd set, but still repetitive none the less..
