Let the motherfucking haters that will NEVER know what it's like to B/C show us how it's done. Show us YOUR video of you on the bunny slopes! Kiss my ASS and I splitboard with skiers 99% of the time, and I'm always the lag factor because of my gear, and just because... there are splitboarders that can keep up with skiers as well, but it's usually a skier dominated thing. One ski, 2 skis, but we snowboarders have to constantly switch, especially when you hit flats or need to ascend a mild slope which takes more time, usually making me the embarrassing lag factor that can even be dangerous! On the OTHER hand, it's me that will chase your ski or both of them, and recover it, whereas that never happens being a snowboarder. When you are B/C, we depend on each other for our lives, which is something that the haters don't get.

I agree with that sentiments. I don’t think dislikes should be used it just gives everyone the power to become an ego fulled critic. You should only be able to like a video dislikes are not constructive criticism. In this instance someone is either being picky about how this video was filmed, didn’t like Mountains and shouldn’t be here anyway or they were just being rude. This video is great and filmed at a top tier level

I was able to make this climb twice as a much younger man. For me it was really fun to relive. I must admit I am a bit envious of the modern gear. It certainly isn't the 1970,s anymore. 🤙

Great all around skis. Got the skis this year and the boots last. It's an awesome combo for long tours.

Ha! I thought about that when I wrote the description. I didn't want to bait and switch anyone so I added that last part about washington's 2nd highest mountain.

My best day was about 4500 feet of hiking, but each run was only about 700-800 vertical feet.

Snowshoes first...get yer shit together in the back areas...food, rescue, overnight, navigation. Add skis.

​@@ccaissie113 I disagree. During my 20 years of skiing I have never touched a snowshoe :). Just jump into it and start skiing, but team up with someone who knows what they're doing if you want to explore avalanche risk areas.

@@ccaissie113 don't worry, wasn't planning on getting in the backcountry with nothing other than knowing how to ski! haha I will take an Avy course and get all my rescue gear. I've got a foundation with WFR/backcountry navigation/being a backcountry ranger. So I am fully aware that I am not aware of everything when it comes to snow travel. That is definitely part of the plan ;)

Exactly. And the whole way up you're thinking "I have to ski down this garbage!" In the end, skiing down this stuff is soooooo much better than walking down.

It’s crazy how they were able to fly a drone up at the false summit. Never seen that before. Usually 30-40mph sustained wind there. I’ve been on the summit with as high as 60 mph sustained wind. Couldn’t even stand on top of the cabin. And that was in July.

Awesome place I wish I lived closer.
