Protip. You can take towns that have rebelled super easily and super early on. We’re talking tier 2 clan with 100 troops. When a town rebels, go tot he town, and, before you do anything else, buy all the food in the town. Next, make sure the 3-4 rebel faction lords do not have their parties in the town. You can fight them outside of the town if you want, but you don’t have to, and if you do make sure you buy the town’s food out first. Now siege. Because the town does not have any food, the majority of it’s defenders will die from starvation before your camp is built. I recommend using the 4 trebs to siege down one wall, but no other siege equipment is necessary. Now take the town. I, of course, recommend using the Battanian Fian as your 100 troops.

very informative, i did a test on taking a rebel city and yep no one attacked me , i lvled all items to tier 3 in town worked on making 2 handed swords, and fought any otherr rebels i found, wound up with tier 4 clan and over 3 mil in bank with 2k renoun, restarted game to verify and it works. just an idea.

What I did to start my Kingdom was select the Town I wanted, raided a village to get the War status and took the fief. Then I quickly went for two more castles. By this time I already had 50 influence enough to use the peace option in the Diplomacy tab and end their siege. I had to be fast since they were also seiging my town and castle. Now I have 2 castles and a Town. Let's see where it goes frome here 😅

What I did was to spend the first 3 days irl creating relations with about 4 of the kingdoms by helping them with quests, becoming a mercenary for them, using some mods to become a soldier for leaders which boosted relations etc...and with about average 90 relations across the board those 4 kingdoms did not want to go to war with me at all. So you can only focus on war with a few kingdoms, then betray your old friends once you stole some of their clans lol.

You can donate troops to parties in your army on the bottom right by clicking on them, so in theory you could go around recruiting and upgrading troops while in an army to keep your army full.

PS: Sturgia seems to have the most rebel incidents and they are conquered the easiest by other factions , will base my next test there.

You can get influence before starting a kingdom and build it up to make peace once you start it.

I took the entire map. It was easy. Just join a kingdom and work for them until they give you five or six of their cities. Once that happens form them into an army when they are weak. Then disband and leave that kingdom. Then attack them while weak with your clan parties and with the points assign your men as new clan leaders to support you. Easy peeezy. Just takes 10 hours to set up :P

Played as a member of the empire for ages, married pentons daughter dude loved me and gave me every castle and settlement we took, have most of sturgis and Kuzait lands, only just realised how yo declare a kingdom lol

I captured two castles and a city before becoming a Kingdom and did not get attacked by any faction.....only when you announce your kingdom all hell breaks out.

I've been really appreciating your videos! I've learned a lot from them and the console version definitely deserved some love. Two little pointers, one about this video and one that applies more broadly. Militia is pronounced more like "milisha" (and perhaps it's different across the pond, but that's how it's said in the US and Canada) And there is no back/options button on the PlayStation 4, the touchpad does that job.

Are the towns in your kingdom keep producing the same troops as before. For example if I take a castle in the southern empire. Are the towns related to my castle keep producing imperial recruits for me to recruit?

Alot of people don't realize you can beat massive armies if you are in your castle when they attack. Make sure if your on PC that you limit how many troops can be on a battle at one time, so you don't get zerged. Just defend your castle manually, fight it. I recommend using ranged with a melee as back up. There are rocks you can pick up, and throw over the walls that so massive damage to multiple enemies at once. If they manage to break through the wall or gate, call back your troops and make a huge mob and put them into a shield wall with archers behind them. If you can get the hang of it, you will never lose. Once you win the first battle, you have the option to "ambush" do that. This allows you to kill a fee troops, and break their siege weapons. After the ambush they will still attack, but they will not have much sieges to get in, leaving then to get slaughtered outside the walls. Also try to keep loyalty high, as well as security in your base. Once that is done upgrade your base so that the base repairs walla faster, and "build sieges faster" this will greatly help you defend against any enemy attack regardless of their numbers. Another option is to wait a bit late to start your kingdom until you can have at least 200 in your own party. And make sure to have a wife as soon as possible so you can grow your family. This allows you to make armies with your sons, wife, and brother. People freak out when they see 1500 up to 2000 and just give up. Don't, just fight it out you can win easily. For beginners I highly recommend putting the game on easiest mode, or at least on easy until you get better at the game. Vets can do it on realistic and still win.

i have discover that you can recruit as vassal mercenary clans even if they are prisoners you need just some positive stands and a free fief just like companions you forgot noble escorts as policy it give you 40 troops more can you please made an advanced guide for kingdoms? there is no one on yt i know already how made one but the wealth mechanics of clans and other advances stuff still not clear

My troop count is 290. I went up against a 2k Aseria army. I made an army of my companions which was 600+ . Had 700 garrison/Militia in my town. I beat that army, but barely. Then right after i win, a second and third army arrive. I had wounded troops against a 1700/2 army Aseria right after i just won. I was very upset and quit and re loaded before i made the kingdom.

I have half a region I'm building up before I leave vlandia and start my own in sandbox. Started playing campaign for the achievements and the ally army ai is really pissing me off literally doing nothing roaming around wasting time while settlements and towns burn.

One of the biggest issues is having continuous wars declared against you and you aren't big enough to fight them and if you have millions you can pay them off but not sustainable.

So I'm playing in sandbox and I've taken over most of the empire and I have over 31,000 influence, when I switch over to having a kingdom, will I retain that influence? I want to be able to spend all those points and enact all the policies that I want before I get any Lords to oppose me
