Actually the first time I saw the Vietnam flag in an American school rather than the 3 stripe one lol

Nhím yeah we didn’t approve of that. We used the stripe one to walk out with but the school put the star one up. Probably because of lack of cultural knowledge?

@@kaylinphan753 And I think why most school in the US put up the 3 stripe flag bc the current Vietnam flag represents communism and the 3 stripes represent "democracy". I'm still curious why you guys didn't approve the yellow one.

Nhím that is true. I’m pretty sure the school was unaware of the meaning of the flags and just went with the one that comes up on google, which turns out to be the red one
