Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area, located at Ironton/Crosby, Minnesota, is one of the top mountain biking destinations in the state and the Midwest. This trail system sits in the historically significant Cuyuna Iron Range, once a major iron mining site. As of 2024, the park offers about 60 miles of mountain biking trails, ranging from beginner to advanced levels. The park has earned silver-level ride center recognition by the IMBA. The trails in this video are in the Mahnomen unit of the park, including Sand Hog Mountain, my favorite trail.
