They will probably contract for those services with their current providers, then start their own departments when the tax base allows. EMS also.

I hope they enjoy more taxes, having to abide by all the state and federal mandates for low income housing and public transportation further more, what children can and cannot be taught in public schools.

What that it means ? Safety that we don’t have now, the water service electricity and gas are the more expensive in the area are they going down? A police department that face the bad things happening in our community? Think about it. Or only this means that houses will continuing selling with exhorbitants prices same thing with the rent.
