Mountain Lion Gets Root Canal and Is Released Into the Wild

A rehabilitated mountain lion has been released into the wild. He was hit by a car and brought to the San Diego Humane Society’s Ramona Wildlife Center with extensive injuries. Veterinarians say he had road rash, a broken jaw and tooth, and that his fur was covered in ticks and burrs. Doctors repaired the jaw injury and performed a root canal on the animal’s upper right canine tooth. Prior to being released, the mountain lion was fitted with a GPS collar to monitor his future movements.

Taking care of our wildlife is very important too. The destruction of their habitat is the reason they end up traveling much more as thry lookfor food and shelter and this causes them to be injured 🤕 Love to see animals rehabilitated gives me hope that on day the whole world will catch on 🌎

I mean the collar acts as protection from other predators though cause heard dogs usually have spiked collars to protect them

I need two root canals right now. My teeth have been extremely painful. My dentist said I need $4k. I don't have dental coverage yet, I'm looking for it. But in the meantime I'm bearing the pain with lots of ibuprofen 😣

Very nice story, hope the animal activists stops bullying hunters who pay for these beautiful animals to live and have a home and start accusing the corporations who mass produce medicine and clothing lines using their skins instead, those people made them extinct and not western hunters who preserved and paid for the land and home these animals had otherwise most of Africa wildlife wouldn't exist and people will take those land for themselves.
