Recently, I visited Rishikesh(known as the yoga capital of the world) with my family. It was an amazing trip. We went in our car and it was approximately a 5-6 hours journey from Delhi. We pre-booked our hotel(Hill Top Swiss Cottage) through a direct call to the hotel manager. It cost ₹2200/night though the price may vary as per seasonal time. We went at end of December so this is the off-season in Rishikesh. I highly recommend room numbers 602 & 603 of this hotel if you are young and don't have any issues climbing the ladders because these rooms are on the 5th floor but trust me you will like the scenic view.
