I planted Green Machine in my little spot in the woods using only a grass whip, rake and seed spreader. After two weeks, I had a nice healthy food plot growing and deer were already eating it.

Just picked up two of these Green Machine. I'm in Mid-Michigan, so I'm looking forward to seeing the results. I have 10 acres of hardwoods and some great open areas. Plus, help keep my core bucks stay closer for feeding. I'm excited to see it grow along my creek. Great straight to the point videos.

Nice. I’m doing a small woods plot with the same down here in East Tennessee. Also have poor soil but hoping this Green Machine will become a big buck waypoint. I’m going to broadcast some extra clover around the perimeter.

Yeah my soil is in the 4s also. Got the lease late in the summer so still need to get lime in but was thinking green machine or no bs

Great video as always! I just cleared and tilled about 1/4 acres and am about to spread the green machine. My question is do you go back after to spread the seed with a rake or anything to cover the seed with soil? Or is that not necessary? Thank you for all the awesome information!

Hi I really enjoy watching your videos. Im looking to plant something up at my camp in Maine. I wont be hunting it until the second and third week of November. Can you suggest something that they might not totally wipe out before I get up there to hunt? Whatever you suggest when exactly should I plant it? Ty

Hey Christopher! Since you won’t be hunting until November, you might want to plant in mid-late August. You’d also want cold-resistant plants (like Green Machine, I also like Hot Chic for its chicory and clovers - chicory takes a bit to mature as well, so that might work with your timeline). My dad use to make me use one of those sling blades instead of the brush hog or a weedeater. That thing will definitely give you a workout swinging it all day. Great job it looks good
