www.mormonchannel.org/video/mo... - Finding faith in the Lord Jesus Christ will help us have the power to endure and overcome challenges in life.
""Many of you are now passing through physical, mental, and emotional trials that could cause you to cry out, 'When I've tried all my life to be good, why has this happened to me?' Now I wish to encourage those who in the midst of hard trials who feel their faith may be fading under the onslaught of troubles. There seems to me no better answer to the question of why trials come, and what we are to do, than the words of the Lord Himself, who passed through trials for us more terrible than we can imagine. You may have seen the need for that foundation as I have, at the bedside of someone ready to give up the fight to endure to the end. If the foundation of faith is not embedded in our hearts, the power to endure will crumble. [Mother yelling to her son]
Moroni, the son of Mormon in the Book of Mormon told us how. He teaches the simple and sweet truth that acting on even a twig of faith allows God to grow it. That particle of faith -most precious- which you should protect, and use to whatever extent you can, is faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. You and I have faith, that the way to rise through and above trials, is to believe that there is a Balm in Gilead, and that the Lord has promised, 'I will not forsake thee. 'Curing does not come automatically through the passage of time, but it does take time. Getting older does not do it alone, it is serving God and others persistently with full heart and soul that turns testimony of truth into unbreakable spiritual strength. If we have faith in Jesus Christ, the hardest, as well as the easiest of times in life can be a blessing. In all conditions all we can choose the right with the guidance of the spirit. We have the gospel of Jesus Christ shape and guide our lives if we choose it. We never need to feel that we are alone or unloved in the Lord's service because we never are. We can feel the love of God. The Savior has promised angels are on our left and on our right to bear us up, and He always keeps His word. His love is unfailing I so testify, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.""

I am so grateful for this video, I watch it every day ! I remember when my mom passed away when I was just 10 years old and struggled through life which led me into a 23 year addiction which was lead to me being homeless! When I got clean and sober and started praying and reading the scriptures coming back to the church! I’m so grateful for my loving savior Jesus Christ for lifting me up to feel his love through my trials that I never had to walk them alone! He has walked through it every step of the way! I love the gospel so much and want to testify that the church is true and that Jesus Christ lives I bare my witness that he walks and never will leave us alone! Gods love is infinite and eternal and I’m so grateful for that’s in the name of Jesus Christ amen

Love you too fam! If you think about it, were all one big family, and just like families we dont all get along, we have minor and major differences, all believe in different religions and beliefs, were all perfectly imperfect, we argue, fight, etc you get it. And I can honestly say, without god we wouldnt have known how to deal with my brothers death, who wouldnt want to be happy knowing they can see them again?, and even though missing them is hard, reuniting with them and knowing it and even thinking it, brings so much peace when you believe it. And if you dont believe, why not try? What have you actually got to lose? Love and light to you all! Godbless!

This message came at the right time for me. I clicked on this video, expecting another cute little clip that I've seen a lot of times on this channel. Boy was I wrong. I've been so depressed these past few weeks, I've even stopped going to church. I felt useless and like I'd never amount to anything. I haven't read my scriptures in months. I cried out to God, asking Him to help me. Then my missionaries left a card at my door. He hears and answers our prayers. He truly does care for us. Amen.

It was a very good message, I may not believe in the Mormon faith or in the Mormon bible but it does help give hope to people and I feel that the Mormons out off all the Christians show it the best, I just wish all Christians wether they are Baptist, Methodist or what ever "type of Christian that they are, will show the love of Christ in everything they do not just if people are looking, and I know I need to work on it, everyone needs to try and be like Jesus more everyday

Beautifully put. Mormons don't have their own bible, though. We believe in the bible as far as it is translated correctly and follow the teachings of the King James version. We also have something called the Book of Mormon which is another testament of Jesus Christ. Its similar to a bible as it is still scripture but it doesn't replace the bible in any way, just expands on it. That is the only SCRIPTURAL difference between Mormons and others. I bet there are some missionaries where you live that can explain it better than me if you are confused.

Thanks for your comment. I think its in John 17 the Lords last words to us and that was similiar idea to what you said " Be ONE as I and the Father are, You in Me and I in Him, be ye therefore ONE" something like that. But we all are ONE , as we are all literal Children of Heavenly Father. Maybe try reading hymn Oh my Father ..and Old video for worlds fair Mans search for happiness. Though old has timeless truths. Take care.

I told my wife tonight that this was the video that finally made me turn my heart to the Gospel. It was the turning point in my life, and the first talk I looked for and listened to from beginning to end. That was 10 years ago - I’m now a returned missionary, sealed to my Sweetheart in the temple, and have two beautiful children. There truly is a Balm in Gilead, we just have to accept Him. ♥️

The past couple of months have been very hard on me and my mom that have caused me to be mentally challenged to the point I decided I wanted to cut and possibly take my life. My dad has been abusing drugs since January, and my dad has also cheated on my mom with several women. I began to realize that I have slowly lost my faith in Jesus Christ and that I’m mad at everything to the point I don’t wanna go anywhere. But tonight watching this video changed me in a way that has made me feel relieved and calm. So thank you, mormon channel.

Strengthen me. Give me insights I'd not have received. It has humbled me. Makes me so much more grateful for family and small things. May God bless you my young sister. I love the vid by President Eyring. Faith in the Savior is the answer. That doesn't mean it will always be easy but you will find your way and peace will ensue. I am grateful for Prophets and Apostles that are upon the Earth that can guide and lead us to happiness. The Church of Jesus Christ has those leaders with the proper authority given to them by the Savior. This world brings so much heartache and it's comforting to know that God, our Heavenly Father has prophets on the Earth again.

Then when that happened I cried for hours feeling hopeless and like a failure. I stayed in my room for hours crying. Then I talk to old YM president and he counseled me. This video made me sob....but it's ok. I'm getting used to shedding tears. My friend was just paralyzed in a skiing accident and another friend lost her husband in an instant (brain aneurysm). She has five children. How do we keep breathing? How do we find joy? It's clear to me that my husband and I have been placed where we are to help hold our friends up. I believe in the power of the priesthood and have witnessed many miracles. We can all be guardian angels if we are chosen to be. We can be someone else's miracle. Now I must GO & Do! ❤️

Dear Brother and or Sister. I apologise for sticking my nose in but I so wish I'd had ideas from people in the trenches or soon after. My marriage after six years of separation sadly for me ended and though I have regrets and wished it would if survived it didn't. BUT I feel my successes and failers might help.. we had a few nice " tries" during separation but I expected too much too fast. Her heart had drifted away most of the time. I had by thinking if Lord and her first thing in morning in prayer I had beautiful manna daily if peace and deap pure love for her reguardless of what she did or didn't. I felt very close to Lord. Helps I wish I would of used earlier are. Give them room. Go about as hard as it is to work out. Work hard at work. Work hard on self being a better Christlike person. Patience is key. James book in Bible in tongue etc helped. Sacred Union. Peace Giver. The movie Fireproof and amazing book made for movie Love Dare' is what I'd start with. We get depressed freeze up often LD book k gets us moving a d during 40 day cycle we grow and gain valuable insights. My church leaders bless them didn't read or use it. But in Davis county Utah they are and are having very good results.. Kerry Shook a Christian paster on KZfaq has good quick messages and good stories. Mort Fertel a Jewish fellow has really good stuff. A secular book I can't recall insnt tricking but helps because we need to get moving on and not contact for 30 a days to give them time to miss us and for us to look better get momentum financially health wise attitude wise and Spiritually. They will see positive change but at first not trust it. That's ok just keep "Calm Cool and Collected" anyway good luck. Take the long view. Oh do a special thing they always wanted. It shows we care want to know them... Do new things like try a play. Indean food. Etc that helped a lot.. God Bless you

I can relate to "Crying out after In have tried to be good all my life, why has this happen to me" and the struggle to keep onto and grow that "twig of faith". My family has been through so much and I have caught myself doubting so much, but it seems like every time I watch this video a flood of emotion and calmness spreads through me. I can feel the Holy Ghost resting his hand on my shoulder telling me that it is going to be okay. All I have to do is keep my faith. Things are going to be hard and things will probably get worse, but if I just wait and believe, it is going to get better. He is going to guide us to where we are supposed to be, just give Him time and he will give you joy and eternity.

We fall down but we always get up. Failure and hardships are apart of life. Life is short but our lord Jesus Christ makes it right for us. Anger is short but courage is forever. We are put on this planet because God thought we were right to be down here. Life is a blessing cherish it with God. God bless you all.

After loosing my grandma that raised me, my cousin that shot himself lost 2 of my best friends last week to a fatal car crash, my mommy who is dying of cancer, my dad left when I was 5 years old, loosing my job, getting denied unemployment, my car engine blew up, I wake up with a smile because I know that my father in heaven lives! And this life is only for a short period of time. I will not murmur! I will be like Alma and live this life and be thankful for all the things god has given me.

Thank you so much for sharing this video with me Itagia. I had a double hernia operation on the 01.07.21 and it wasn’t successful. I am still in constant pain each and everyday and I’ve seen 2 other surgeons and they believe that it’s caused by 2 pinched nerves due to the operation. I am still doing physiotherapy, going to the rehabilitation pool, and doing various exercises to try to eliminate the pain. But watching this video definitely increased my hope of healing. I felt the Holy Spirit all over me while tears feel down my cheeks. Really hope that this pain leaves my body.
