May 20, 2024 - Day 4 of 6 on the MST. Finishing segment 4 and starting segment 5. More stream crossings and waterfalls. Then a big climb up to Beacon Heights to finish segment 4. No stopping there. I moved into segment 5 passing Linn Cove Viaduct and Rough Ridge. Along the way I experienced amazing views of Grandfather Mountain, the Blue Ridge Mountains, the Blue Ridge Parkway and even the peaks in the Linville Gorge Wilderness area from afar.
