Great vid as always. Again, thank you for explaining not only what you are doing, but why you do it that way. The landscaper I did work for had a semi tractor as a roll off truck. I just put tubes on the bottom, just like a dumpster would have, and a hook in front, instead of mounting it on a flatbed. Both ways work fine.

Nice pro tip on the Center punching corner of material to indicate a cut, going to use that for sure!

What i learnt today Prick punch saw cuts. welding parts together to drill in pairs. Metal roller to pick up metal bits, (awesome idea for working in gravel driveway at home, or field service work etc.)

Another video where I learned a few things! Thank you. No joke on the metal shavings. Mine have migrated all over my garage, up into my house; I’ve even destroyed our white bath towels. No more, we are going dark blue and black. There is rust everywhere and I am damn proud of it😆👏🏼

How about some fork pockets in the base of the hydroseeder so it can be lifted off in case the owner needs the flatbed? Another great video, thanks for sharing your projects with us.

They don’t have a forklift that would lift that on its own even if it had pockets…I don’t either…that would take a machine with forks at least 6 feet long…I don’t think they would be willing to risk damage by lifting it off very often. That’s the reason for the Switch-N-Go system…if they need a different bed then they’ll use a different bed. Fork pockets are awesome though…best way for forkliftin for sure

Lots of thought and measuring there. Nice. Was just the top of the bed powder coated? It looked like rust underneath. What is the VRC? You may have mentioned it. Thanks for the videos.

The entire bed was powder coated but even powder coating does not go between the cross members and the floor plate decking so there is still spots that can rust Google ZRC Cold Galvanizing Compound…if I said VRC then I misspoke

Glad you decided against relying on the self-tappers to hold your angle clips under the bed. Otherwise, when the constantly moving liquid load sheared the screws off, the only thing that would have been holding the seeder to the bed would have been a couple of sub-standard, Micky Mouse welds that hold the floor plate down.

Otherwise, when the screws sheared off or vibrated loose, the only thing that would have been holding the seeder to the bed would have been the Micky Mouse welds that hold the floor plate down. Not good with a constantly moving liquid load!
