In this video, we will take a look at how can a phone a camera mounting system can be set up for BMW motorcycles. Applies for all non-tubular handlebars.
Mounts required:

The Quadlock Stem mount will not fit the R1200/1250/k1600. If you pull off the BMW logo you’ll find a 46mm wide hole which is also too shallow to fit the expanding bolt. I managed to adapt one after a lot of trial and error,

@ninerpeak I have been using a stem mount invented by an employee at Jacksonville BMW. He designed and 3 D printed them so the BMW center logo is still visible. I just needed more places for other devices.

This is a good, minimal impact solution to mounting tubular style mounts on non-tubular handlebars. However, I would've used thread locker on the screw threads. You can tell the factory used thread locker on the original bolt. Finally, torque value should be around 30 Nm. Thanks.

Nice way to install the quadlock. I would pick the handlebar mount not the pivot arm. handlebar seems less bulky, i tok out the extension arm and got a clean look with my GS1250. Now I install to my friends GTL with this way.. He doesn't also want to remove the logo in the middle

Excellent video. I've been looking for something to mount my Go Pro and Insta 360 X3 camera. Thanks so much On another note, I cannot charge my iPhone 14 Pro Max in the cubby as it gets way too hot. Also, I think you can buy a Go Pro piece with a fifteen degree offset to take care of the camera angle....or use a ball mount with with a longer ram, such as RAM B-201 U (Medium or long) Have a great day, and thanks again!

I was shocked in this day and age that my iPhone 13 Pro Max did not fit in the charging cubby. I had a very thin case on it and in the end taking this off and putting the phone in with the charging port first worked without pressing any buttons.

I can relate. I was disappointed to find that my phone didn’t fit in the charging cubby. When riding with my wife I use the cubby to charger her phone instead. It’s good use and works well but for smaller phones.

I have full Craftsman set. I believe I did mention the gauge in the video. I’ll have to see it myself 😁 as I don’t really remember off the top of my head.

Hey, this is amazing. I tried a few places to try and order it from but at checkout they say that delivery is not possible to my address / South Africa. Would it be possible to send me the diameters and lengths of this please? Im sure I can find a turner to try and make this then locally. But this is a good show of how easy it can be made. I've honestly considered replacing the handlebar with a round/GS style if I cant get this made up

I previously owned a 2019 R1250RT and traded it for a K1600B and then back to HD. Should have kept the 1250RT. I also love the wireless Quadlock and have it on my '22 Ultra Limited wired directly to a keyed ignition source. How is your wireless Quadlock powered? Thanks in advance and look forward to more of your content since I may go back to a RT!

Thank you for the feedback and sub. More videos are coming :) for quad lock I had the quad lock USB adapter directly connected to battery. But recently I replaced that one with Quadlock smart USB adapter which auto turns off the supply to wireless charger if battery voltage goes below 12.5v. Auto turns back on when you start the bike. It’s a perfect addition.

HELLO SIR please did you find out what size torx spanner you used on the BMW R1200RT HANDLEBAR BOLT REMOVAL TO FIT the bolt adaptor extension bolt for your phone mount please. what is the size off the original bmw bolt. do you know the toque setting too how tight can i go to tighten up. thank you sir Paul
