De Oppresso Liber
The United States Army Special Forces, known as the Green Berets, are a special operations force tasked with five primary missions: unconventional warfare (the original and most important mission of Special Forces), foreign internal defense, special reconnaissance, direct action, and counter-terrorism. The first two emphasize language, cultural, and training skills in working with foreign troops. Other duties include combat search and rescue (CSAR), counter-narcotics, counter-proliferation, hostage rescue, humanitarian assistance, humanitarian demining, information operations, peacekeeping, psychological operations, security assistance, and manhunts.

My father was in the Green Berets for 10 years back in the early 80's he lost all of his best friends in a ambush. He has not talked about it much but I do know that he carried all of their bodies back to their back up LZ. So these types of tributes mean alot to me. Not many people understand the sacrifices that they make. So thanks for helping to give the members of our Special Forces the recognition they deserve. Keep up the excellent work,

My grandfather fougth against the germans 2 times ww1 and ww2 in of their battles against the italians and the germans he lost all of his squad and his brother. He managed to leave Greece and go to help the allies and he fougth for revenge. Can you imagine figthing against panzers with a rifle? old then greece didn't had their own rifles they bored them and he fougth again in civil war. Well i am not saying that the Americans don't deserve this and is huge gap between those time lines that you and me are talking about.

Since I was 12, I had that "Woah! They're so cool!" for the Army, like kids do for cop cars (depending on their interests). But wow, I'm 15 now and I know the purpose of my life, man. They may not be the best in HR, DA and UW (although they are among the best) but it is certainly the most comprehensively trained special unit I know and I have learned a lot from them. I spent more than 6 years on the missions abroad, we worked with them many times ... in fact with all american special forces that operated in the Middle East ... but most often with the Green Berets. Excellent, very tough guys, great respect for these great soldiers. Special Greetings from Poland - S.

Bro. You know the Americas is cruel in some ways. For example, during WW2, the US tested nukes on their own troops before dropping some on Japan. I’m American too btw. Edit: my gramps served in the Vietnam war. He’s really lucky to have survived. Don’t think he has post traumatic stress... don’t want to find out. He also said that some of his friends died from friendly fire.

My uncle is in the Green Berets, curently deployed in Iraq as far as I remember ( I haven't talked to him in months... ) He is part of a Romanian / American squad, great men all of them...Thanks for these great videos ! I have a request too if you may.. can you make something abour Romania's special forces ? You can get a lot of footage from the "Acvila special forces" for example, or many many others..
