In this video, I am going to show you how you can move apps to the SD Card in your Samsung A12 or to Samsung devices in general. Learn how to move apps to sd card on android.
Step 1. Set your SD card as Internal storage.

Step 2. Enable Developer options and turn on "Force allow apps on external.

Step 3. Move apps to your sd card.
Notes: Not all apps can be moved the sd card and it's up to the app developers to allow their apps to either be moved to the SD card or not.

I was trying to do the same thing as you did and have trouble to move the apps to sd card i click on storage but can't see move to sd card

It's works on mine. Android 11 on a A12. Not all apps can be moved, but most of them this works for.

I was doing that until I got to the part where it said move apps to SD card. There is no such option.

I follow the steps. Yes it seems successfully transfer but when I check my internal storage and sd card, same nothing change.

Agree 100% I'm glad that this A12 for me is only a temporary solution........otherwise I'd return it in a heartbeat. Slow, not enough internal memory to have all the apps I want on it. Moving apps to SD card (which I was able to do by skipping step one and doing steps 2 and 3) , the apps run very poorly (which is saying something, as they run poor enough on the internal memory of this slow af brick)......Can't wait to pay off the old phone I lost, and now this $200 brick......so that I can get back into a real phone again....... Helpful advice, don't loose your phone when it has a necessary work app on it, when you don't have enough money to pay your deductable to get your good phone replaced......(tbh this phone saved my bacon in that regard.......and it will stay in the drawer as a back up device if I ever boneheadedly loose my phone again.....assuming I don't boneheadedly loose THIS phone before that happens 🤣)

once I move my apps, will my photos still be synced with Google photos? I'm not moving Google photos to internal storage, I'm keeping that app where it is

Ok I'm downloading a pretty big game I did all what you did but for some reason it still shows on my internal instead of my SD and it's taking up that storage. Should I delete and re-download the game and imiditaly put it on SD?

Yeah it only moves part of a game to the SD card like the files not the app itself
