Thank you so much for this. I'm 17 and have been on my own since 13. Totally have been nervous to go to the courts because i fear they will believe my mom instead of me. Or say i can't take care of myself.

Jadea Campbell they will completely believe you. What they want most is for you (the child) to be safe in the end and cared for. It’s good to try to get backup though, maybe someone who works with kids cases or child services, i really hope things get easier for you❤️ but just know you’ve got people out there who love you :) maybe even get in touch with a family member who could take you in? There are possibilities though!

Wow, when you explained the whispering stuff I don't think I have ever related to something so much. For me it sounded like multiple people whispering but it was loud and you couldn't understand it because it was so much. Everytime I tried to ignore it, it got louder. Things are better now though and I hope you're doing okay.

Kayla thanks for subscribing! I actually moved into my cousins place, slept there for 6 months working a full time job, made around 2k and rented a room in a house (which I don't suggest doing) and then I saved up another 2k and moved into my own basement suite with a girl! Be very careful When moving out and please be financially ready, at least save up 4-5k trust me :/ it'll save some stress but honestly Moving out was hard and the planning and transportation But do what you need to do, to be happy !

The strength and courage it took for you to take that leap and to take that risk, I commend you for it. It's, i think, inspiring that you made that change in your life. Me personally, I am looking into taking action to become more independent from my parents and take the reigns on my life. They, per say, are very controlling and strict but not in an extreme way. I do love them and really don't want to leave the nest just yet but they keep pushing my hand and just don't understand me or listen to what I say. I'm glad your doing better and I'm glad that you took that chance and bettered your life. That takes a lot of courage; courage I don't think I have. Thanks for this video; I really appreciated you telling your story. It gave me the chance to delve further into understanding what I'd be getting into with making my decision. Once again, thanks!

The only reason why people are depressed is because they think there something there not, if you keep telling yourself your ugly you’d be depressed about that and if you keep saying that your depressed you’ll become even more depressed, my best advice to you is to pray to god and keep telling your self that your Beautiful and great and happy that’s how to beat depression plsssss anyone who reads this keep telling yourself your great

Hey, I've never watched your videos before and you mentioned at the beginning of this one that you don't have a lot of subscribers. I could give you some tips on your videography. One big thing I would like to point out to you is that you need to move your camera up. The top of the frame should cut off just above your hair or just below it. But you are covering up your eyebrows which are a very nice facial feature of yours and sometimes covering your eyes. Your viewers want eye contact when being talked to lol. Just wanted to let you know. Message me back if you want to know anything else. I think I could help out. Btw, I'm subscribing :) Have a nice day and good luck with future videos!

Is it okay to get emancipated just for the sake of your mental health? Or future? My mom isn’t verbally abusive or physical. The reason I want to get emancipated because I feel hated in this house, I feel misunderstood, I don’t feel safe with my oldest brother too. I was abused by my dad and was molested by my oldest brother many times when I was little. I don’t really want to tell anyone that I was molested because it’s too late and I was little. I don’t think nobody would believe me or care honestly so I guess it doesn’t matter. It’s hard to even believe myself. I don’t want that to be used for a reason to get emancipated either. I don’t know how to explain me and my mothers relationship and don’t want to be selfish, because some out there would kill to have a mom. But the relationship with my mother isn’t nothing special, we don’t talk honestly at all, the only time we talk is when I need something or something important. She makes me feel like I can’t do shit or feel stupid. I don’t know how to make her happy and tried. I tried explaining to her about my anxiety and I’m afraid to tell her about me possibly having learning disability, because the past time I tried telling her stuff she just judges me and really don’t try to understand me. I tried telling her about killing me wanting to kill self last year and she basically laughed and said I’m making excuses. I get called lazy because I don’t go out. But part of the reason I don’t go is because I get anxiety and worried what people think and just turn negative and start to think bad about myself to the point where I start making myself sad and making myself believe it and start having suicidal thoughts. I have had a point last year where I was planning on killing myself by overdosing. I don’t really have no bright future ahead of me, I don’t have no purpose in life, Im to stupid for college or to have any career or to start a business. That’s also the reason why I want to get myself emancipated because I want to start a new life and find myself and try to do something in life. I don’t really have no support but my grandparents. But they have their own life and own things to deal with. I cannot depend on them but myself. I want everyone to forget about treat me like I never existed. I don’t want to have contact with any of my family members because I feel like it would be best if I never existed to them. I know it would be better if I wasn’t there. I just want some actual help and guidance to help me achieve at least one goal. I don’t know how I’m going to do it if I can’t step one foot out my own house. It’s also hard to get through her. When she’s in the wrong she doesn’t except it. I’m sorry big this doesn’t sound serious and sorry to the people who still go through abuse. I just want to get out of here. Is it possible?

Maya Lawrence leaving wasn’t worth it to me, but if anything, find a close family member or good friend who would let you live with them maybe, but whatever is happening at the moment, it won’t last, I promise

Kayla Goode unless you guys already have about 3k saved up, it’s not worth it until you graduate first. After school then you can leave. I highly recommend staying with a different family member, because the chances of any landlords letting a pre teen move in to their suites are very slim. get your education first, work hard, and then you can plan on moving out. The only way I did it was because I had different family I could live with, I didn’t just get up and leave and find a new place, it’s an entire process. And it’s very hard. That is why I highly recommend pushing through what you’re going through, because in the end if you don’t go through hell in the first place, you’ll never be able to truly be grateful for the little things or learn from anything. I NEVER thought I would even be alive until 18 and I’m now 20. Things WILL pass. And I can promise you that. Nothing lasts forever. And if it’s a life threatening/ abusive thing then go to child services.

And since I have an education how do I get a full time job?
@Tams_World
@Tams_World 6 жыл бұрын
Maggie Ifraimov what grade are you in? If you’re doing school full time, it’s hard to get a full time job, unless you’re willing to be exhausted all the time but it’s not fun and way too much for one person to handle at a time, I would suggest getting a part time job to start! And then once you feel comfortable enough, and you’re caught up with school, then take on more shifts :) but don’t burn yourself out yenno?

Txmmara Well, I have ADHD but I found out today that I got a 91 on my Science finals and I’m a freshman but I’m planning to leave my parents as soon as possible. I’ve dealt with abuse from my brother and he thinks it’s sibling love but he’s left bruises and my parents (mainly my mom does everything my dads a background) neglects the issue. Now that she’s starting to noticing how hard I’m studying more and my grades getting better and better she’s starting to act nice. What do I do. I want to move to Texas with my boyfriend but I’m in New York

Nevaeh Kelso yes, I moved into my cousins house, slept on a couch and worked full time for a few months, saved up 2k, moved into another home, got kicked out for not sleeping with the owner of the house, saved up another 2k and rented my own basement suite with a female roommate who I then lived with for 1 year :)

You basically have to work and save your money, that’s how you move out. Didn’t get emancipated because I didn’t need to, signed a lease for the place, and kept paying rent

that’s just where it started, they continued to bully me after that, but I talked to a teacher about it and then it stopped. The entire video isn’t based on that one specific comment, it was based off mostly depression that’s all.

I'm 15, turning 16 soon. I'm looking to get emancipated because my dad and I don't get along. Growing up, after my parents divorced, he became physically and verbally abusive. He used to hit me out of anger when he was younger but now, he is always mentally/verbally abusive. I have always been open with my dad to wanting to fix things, but he's so manipulative. He puts on an act in front of any person of authority and calls me manipulative for being honest about what he's done to me. I used to cut because of him and I'm so sick of him always bringing random women into the house and having sex with them while I'm there. I want to get emancipated because I'm emotionally drained from my fathers abuse. I'm so scared to and so scared of being denied by the courts. If anyone has any advice about this, I would appreciate it.

@Tams_World

Nope, got it from neglect, emotional abuse, seeing/hearing bad situations, and people being hurtful towards me etc. I made this when I was 18, and wasn’t good at explaining stories. I’m still not good at explaining them till this day, I know I’m not ugly so no that’s not just the reason. :)
