I show step by step how to change your dual air filters and clean the Mass Air Flow [MAF] sensors on a 2007 Jaguar XKR.
Hidden in the depths of the car these involve a little more work than standard cars

So you have to pull a wheel to change air filter…? Gotta find MAS on 2002 Xj8. Best of luck, hopefully my job is this involved. Thanks

would you say that the MAF sensor could be cleaned by spraying from above down without removing the maf sensor tube? and just letting the remaining maf cleaner drip down with air filter removed? thank you!

Doubtful. The cleaner evaporates quite quickly

I think it may have been WD40 contact cleaner.

Hi. On a cold start the revs on my XKR are up and down, and it sounds like it's 'missing'. Could this be down to the MAF? Seems OK when warm.

Hard to say, may be a slight air leak maybe. If it were MAF I'd expect there to be problems all the time

Thank you. Possible effects are Engine Management Light on, fault codes, Excessive fuel consumption, lumpy idle, to name a few

I can't for the life of me get access to the far side torx screw holding the maf housing. Any tips?

Erm.... Can you loosen any hoseclips on the pipe coming from the upper ducting to enable the maf pipe to twist?
