Such a beautiful girl...the first super model in some ways. Thank you for sharing this lovely montage ❤️

She is just so very beautiful. You are quite correct in that the cards were stacked against her, especially in those years when women were so much taken advantage of. She is to be given a great deal of credit for just "hanging in there" and raising a very successful son as well

Lovely images in this montage, BAZ! Whenever I see her photo, I'm always reminded that Lucy Maud Montgomery used her photo as the inspiration for "Anne of Green Gables".

I would love to see one silent movie of hers. It’s sad that all of them are considered lost.

Why under the label "Movie Legends"..this lady was not a movie legend, she was a beauty legend.

Evelyn Nesbit became one of the first leading ladies in dramatic early silent films. Her role in 'Redemption' (1917) (some say) reflected her own turbulent life story.

Evelyn was truly stunning, one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen. I just wish there were a few of her silent films available. They must all be lost?

Very pretty lady. She kind of reminds me a bit of Tatiana Romanov.

Why no photos of her in later life. There is a good one with a very young Joan Collins prior to her death.

She was having an affair with Sanford White when she was 16; he was 46; both knew better. White was later murdered by her crazy husband at Madison Square Garden in front of hundreds of onlookers because of her.

White raped her and deserved what he got! Mr. Thaw wasn't crazy except with anger.

He groomed her and then sexually assaulted her. I wouldn't call that an affair.

She wasn't a "movie legend" She made a few films but she was no actress. Her acting career went nowhere, probably because she was pretty but totally untalented.

weird how some people see beauty, i just see an average looking girl for the times, i've seen beautiful, drop dead gorgeous before and she is not it. it all depends on the angles, and if her hair is up or down if you can say she's even pretty, like i said she's average.

if youre a history buff, youll soon learn that all women who were called beautiful in history were simply average. I think it is just was kindve a social norm to call women of high status or whatever beautiful in general.
