4:58. Pixar legit does the research for this sort of thing. For Toy Story 1, they strapped a pair of shoes to a wooden plank to see how the soldiers would walk. For Ratatouille, a guy in a chef’s uniform jumped into a pool to see what it looked like when it was soaking wet. I genuinely would not be surprised if they actually made a giant tortilla suit and made someone walk around in it.

Jerry would take food, run out of the kitchen with Tom in tow in front of the help, and when out of sight they’d split the food. Tom stays a house cat and gets fed, Jerry gets to live and gets food.
