Thank you! I always thought of puce as horrible green from some Beverly Cleary book (I assume it was Ramona) where the main character dyes her baby blue shoes sunshine yellow and it just comes out as puce. She spent like two pages describing the color. And then I go to art school and I see puce for the first time and it was pinkish purplish red horribleness and I started doubting both myself AND Beverly Cleary! Now I know the REAL truth!

Puce is the French word for flea. The color is said to be the color of bloodstains on linen or bedsheets, even after being laundered, from a flea's droppings, or after a flea has been crushed.

Puce is only a terrible red color. It’s been confused as a green color for a very long time, but puce is French for flea and refers to the shade of bloodstain the fleas leave on your bedsheets. Never been officially designated any specific shade of green, just mistaken in stories and articles

Some mexicans raided his shop and he got pissed and was like "yo mexico, give me my stuff back and arrest these guys" and mexico just said "nah" so he mailed france and was like "yo these mexicans raided my shop" and france declared war on mexico.

He was just the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back. Humor, he claimed 30,000 pesos in damages on a store valued at 1000 pesos...or he could have built 30 shops like the one he had, that's some great pastries.

Guys!!! My great uncle Delroy Griffiths fought Chuck Norris in Hawaii and lost (obviously) but he got the honor of fighting him!!!! Best uncle ever, rest in peace :)

I've shared pretty much all the neusday videos with friends - the atmosphere is really on point and the opening little animations make them so engaging right off the bat. I love the conversation (as always) and the ideas are all so fun. Great work! Also, a dumb idea inspired by the plucky Max: Draw what you think the other's childhood flashback moment might be that spurs them on to victory in the dramatic anime of their life.

Suggestion: draw strange kung fu moves (or weapons) based off their translated literal names. Eg, "chicken heart" and "tiger fork" I think your interpretations would be great! Request count: 30
