This documentary was in theaters for about 10 days and disappeared. It's not available except to rent or buy on any streaming platform. That's criminal. It should be made widely available.

To be a devil's advocate here, I do not believe that every member of the Hitler Youth was fully aware of the atrocities being committed. Many I believed were defending the "fatherland" as a matter of national loyalty. Hitler was do desperate near the end of the war members of the Hitler Youth participated in their defense of the Ruhr pocket. Children were involved in combat. If anybody was disloyal to the Reich you did not last long and dishonored your family. They were sad events.

how can you forget about it if you don't know it to begin with? you learn history from netflix movies and youtube videos, you don't know the history of how it actually was and why

Babies, children and young teenagers were immediately killed at places like Auschwitz. There's no justifying that, it just doesn't sit right with me. Not all of the people who were rounded up, regardless of ethnicity or race were bad people. There were a lot of people that just wanted to live in peace. That's what makes it so wrong. Not everybody rounded up and killed was a bad apple. Germany and the EU countries are really paying now. Humans only seem to do extremes, never a middle ground. I feel very bad for the people who did not deserve suffering and death, or loss of loved ones.
