wow so much clueless people here. FYI they raised $5.7 mill and the movie was made. (One of the most successful Kickstarter projects in history) The premiere is in March 2014.

just binged the veronica mars series for the second time. just finished season 3, gonna watch the movie then watch season 4. when i did this years ago i never even knew the movie was kickstarted! so dope! i love this series so much i dont want it to endddd 😭

This is so awesome! They've already reached their goal of 2million and are going ahead with the project. This whole thing just goes to show the power of fans. We can make things happen! :D

Having the fans fund the project and having such a huge role in what was such a great show for all of us. I love the fact that the cast (love their dedication!!) and every one of us that participates are sticking it to the studios that seem to thrive on stifling creativity and production of great material, especially Veronica Mars, while based on a TV show, is original. Instead they hock the next remake, sequel, "triquel" so on and so forth. I think this is awesome. I am very excited. :D
