This movie was really good. Yes it's a romantic comedy, yes you easily expect things, but it's charming and innocent, and funny and smart and the two leads were really great. There was chemistry and one scene in particular I thought was so sweet. Romantic comedies, when well done and without all the stupid pervert jokes and scenes, are really nice.

When the client is no longer paying for legal services? When their file is no longer active? Or do would you actually have to leave that firm for it to be ethically OK?

@@hockeygrrlmuse lol I haven't gotten to the part of my class that talks about waiting periods yet, but I know you definitely cannot be in a relationship with a current client if the relationship did not exist prior to the beginning of the representation. I would guess you could arguably be in a relationship with a former client, but that would depend on the laws of a particular state

This movie isn’t terrible, but there are glaring holes in the plot. You don’t take personal injury cases Pro Bono, you get your payment as a percentage of damages awarded. Also, her issue of meeting him on the website is a non-issue, as they met before she was a member. And you don’t make out in court - Ever

Same old plot - just a different cast. Watch enough Hallmark movies and you can predict the entire thing during the opening credits. Just thrown in the "must-have" gay person and copy/paste the rest. That being said, some light fluff is WHAT WE ALL NEED to get us through these really dark times!
