The first Paddington film was shown on ITV or Channel 4. I doubt it will be shown as well. But you never know :)

The beeb always have the best family / Disney films on at christmas,,, but will it be the last of Disney films as Disney plus hits the uk next year ???? I hope not.

@Jaco Moss I knew it was going to be Finding Dory. Beauty & The Beast is too long to be on Christmas Day. Last year it should have been Zootropolis/Inside Out/Trolls. The new Disney version of The Jungle Book was really rubbish. I think next year it should be Coco.

Now there is no Shrek on the BBC, except short films. No Kung Fu Panda on BBC except short films. No Madagascar on BBC at all, even the short films don’t air anymore. Only 1 How To Train Your Dragon movie on BBC, although they do have the series and short films. But we still have the Aardman movies on BBC so it checks out.

I believe ITV now has the future MCU movie rights as Civil War and Doctor Strange was show earlier this year and the next MCU movie is Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 which will air either this year or some time next year.

It seems that ITV have got the rights to some other films the BBC usually show, they now have Shrek and Finding Nemo.

some new films at last. but the sound of music really!!!! i see that half of the Xmas programmes will be repeats again this year .and the bbc have the cheek to charge for watching the usual Xmas drivil .and gloom and doom in Eastenders .the script writers for that programme must sit down and say how much misery can we put into it this year. i watched half an hour of it last xmas day and was really depressed. the Samaritans must have a field day after the programme is transmitted
