It's crazy ... watching the credits and seeing "academy award nominee" before his name made me realize hes ONLY BEEN NOMINATED.. and hasn't taken home any kinda statue yet for some of the crazy insane roles hes played perfectly to a T. I never really knew that... That's crazy.. What's even crazier is knowing that ACTUALLY Farrell in there.. underneath all the make up and prosthetics.

I am so hyped for this! Colin Farrell being cast as the Penguin was a stroke of genius. Edit: Just found out Rex "The Lion" Calabrese is a real character from the comics. First appearance in Batman Eternal #14, September, 2014.

Right, and ONLY thanks to the prosthetics of Mike Marino. I met Mike at a Horror Convention when he was starting out in the 90's, He had only been doing it for a year but already had a portfolio the size of a phone book. Most of the Makeups were done on his best friend who he not only turned into characters like Fat People, but when I saw what he was capable of after only just starting, I knew that he was destined to be the best in the business. He had one makeup where he changed his White friend into a super realistic Morgan Freeman down to the last freckle, He and Kazuhiro Tsuji are the very best people in the business. Like their mentor, Dick Smith, they both are capable of fully transformative makeups that do not appear to be makeup at all.

I’ve gained massive respect in recent years for farrel after seeing the Banshees and realizing how many roles he’s been in. He seems like one of those actors you don’t take much notice to because he’s doing the job so well. This show looks awesome.

@@martinturon4799 yea I’ll always first remember seeing him in minority report, and I remember thinking he was kinda generic in the sense that he was just another sharp looking action star in the mold of pitt and cruise. He was perfectly on target in that movie but I didn’t really appreciate it at the time. Banshees tho is really one of my favorite oscar type movies I’ve seen in the past decade, that movie is so awesome.

I'm looking and looking and listening and listening, and I STILL cannot detect any Colin Farell in that character. It's unreal. The only other time I've felt like that is watching Daniel Day Lewis (in just about any of his roles).

Yeah this looks cool and I’ll be watching. He’d definitely be in jail though from everything that happened during the highway chase in the movie. It’s the one thing that bugged me about The Batman is how Batman and Jim just let him go after all of the destruction and death. It would be too hard to believe for me that someone wasn’t killed during that.
