Moving Abroad: Our Story

Күн бұрынThree years into marriage, we've been blessed to see a lot of beautiful places. One of the most unique spots is a little town at the source of the Nile river called Jinja, Uganda. Through trips with the nonprofit Abby works for, we've made a lot of friends. They've shared with us their warm, welcoming culture and their beautiful country... and we fell in love. 🇺🇬

Its really a big choice to make, u get the anxiety of what might happen when u move, however Uganda is an easy country. We have no guns 🔫, life is relatively cheap. ...all is well here. Welcome

She is the U.S. Executive Director for an organization called Kindred Exchange. They work to connect people in the U.S. and Uganda through cross-cultural trainings.

That’s so exciting! I get the idea that you’re Christian’s and I pray God blessed you on your journey. I lived in Africa for a year and fell in love. It’s tough but so amazing. It’s so nice that you have no idea where you’re going, no plans are the best because God can use that to do the unimaginable. Also cross cultural work is so so fun, you learn to laugh at yourself and appreciate what you can learn and what you can teach. Can’t wait to see more content
