Following our 'steps': how did we get here?
We are Adam (North American) and Bernardo (Brazilian) and we are husbands whose paths crossed back in 2016, when we both still lived in Brazil. Since the very beginning, we shared a common passion for travel and nature, which has only grown over the years and led us to this unexpected journey on KZfaq, which has allowed us to connect with an amazing community that we’re beyond grateful for. “Go out and make memories” is our motto of living and a constant reminder for us that true happiness doesn’t come from the material wealth we accumulate, but from the memories we create and share with our loved ones throughout our existence. We invite you to join us in our crazy journey in life and hopefully we can inspire you to go out and make some memories on your own. Welcome aboard!

We wanted to explain some things based upon some comments we received in our previous video. We also go to go into Portland to see what they are famous for this time of year and we had to get a donut! We also went on a hike where we shared stories about those waterfall days in Brazil - so much has changed since then, haha. But, someone got a little sick and he's finally recovered after a week or so with some kind of stomach bug. Love you all and keep the comments coming, we appreciate all the insight you give us.

It's funny because Tyler and Todd caught a lot of shit for settling down in a "real" house instead of taking the harder off grid route. You can never win when it comes to social media. Ignore the "haters" (they aren't really haters, they're just not nomadic types). This is entertainment and they are simply getting their entertainment through venting. For what it is worth, you are explorers and adventurers and that (and your speedos) is why your fans have come back here since the Brazil days when this channel was all about Adam trying to keep plants alive in the apartment. This is not a criticism, just some advice for what it is worth: focus on your financial security for the long term. Home ownership can be a lucrative part of that especially in the places you are living while renting can be a huge one-way drain of money in the long run.

I just can’t believe the audacity of some viewers that think they need to tell you guys how to live your lives…you really need not explain anything to anyone! When you open your business to everyone, that’s what happens…people think they have special rights to you! 🙄 Anyway, I just want you both to know how much I love watching you guys and I love the relationship you guys have together! 😘 I’m a long time fan, but not as far back as Brazil 😎 Love and Best wishes to you guys, Always! ❤️😇

Wonderful video. Been watching sense around 2019/2020 I think, thanks to Husband and Husband. Anyway, you guys do you. I feel some people fail to relize that just because you share a part of your lives. That it makes us apart of your lives. It doesn't. Your life is your life. Live it how you want. Our thoughts and opinions aren't important, outside of positivity and appreciation. Thank you for addressing your followers "concerns" that was very respectful of you both. But, just know the majority of us understand it's your life. You are free to take whatever path you want. Best of luck, whatever choices you make.

@@BSGSVSeriously, I was frustrated about the backlash Tyler and Todd were getting about not being able to live off grid anymore. A few other vlogers I watch have also been getting some negativity, such as Husband and Husband. I understand people are invested in these people's lives. But, it's to the point, for some viewers, that content creators have to bend to every whim and criticism. Like, dude, if your not enjoying the content unsubscrib. Don't leave hate and negativity.

To be honest, I think people have been really hard on you. I feel you - I grew up in a big city. (Berlin in GER), I understand how you love the calm, the nature, the water. But I also understand how important it is to have people around you. Even if it is just for you having people around without interacting. Do, whatever suits you. What you need. What you feel like. Whatever you do is right. At least for that moment or time span. Dont let others bring you down! Many hugs ❤🤗

These comments are getting on my last nerve. I'm 53 and I have never lived in the same place for more than 5 years since I was 24 and I love it. I love enjoying a place for a while and then finding a new place to enjoy for a while. I've never been married nor do I want to get married even though it's legal now. I don't want to have any kids, but love my nephews and nieces. I don't want to own my own house and rock my old ass in a rocking chair until I die while knitting a cardigan and I'm fine with that. Just because the majority of society has these expectations that you are SUPPOSE to get married, buy a house, pot out some kids and share denture cream in your old age while complaining about your aches and pains, doesn't mean ALL people do. Leave us alone and live and let live without the comments. ALSO......Don't feel sorry for us because we don't feel sorry for ourselves in any way.

Sorry, I didn't find out this video yesterday, I just discovered it now! American donuts are definitely the best in the world, please do not doubt it! I did not expect that there are such beautiful cherry blossom streets in the United States, so American don't have to go to Japan at all! I would like to encourage you to learn, not Chinese, but Taiwan Mandarin. Taiwan has been discovered and recorded more than 300 beautiful waterfalls by a US KZfaqr. I look forward to your traveling and shooting videos in Asia’s first country to legalize same-sex marriage. Maybe you will like to stay in Taiwan, and buy a house there. I wish you all the best and thank you so much for sharing, super great job! 👍🥰👏

Giannis, we're happy you caught this video! Welcome to our channel. Your enjoyment for American donuts and cherry blossoms is contagious (Bernardo would agree with the donuts haha), and Taiwan has been on our list. Taiwan's natural beauty and progressive stance on same-sex marriage definitely make it an appealing destination for us - we'd also love to try the food. Thank you for your kind words and support.

You will settle down, and plant roots, when you decide as couple. I , and everyone else, will tune in to experience your life, wherever you end up. Henry will follow you , on all your adventures , he adores the two of you. Wherever your travels takes you, I wish you happy & safe travels. ❤

Adam and Bernardo, I am glad that you are opening up and letting your viewers and fans know that you are NOT just running around a having a great time: visiting and touring the USA and the world. But that you are also analyzing and categorizing what works for you as a couple. That is great and lets us know that you are thinking about which locations work for you both and which places...not so much. Since you are revealing this, I think it would also be helpful to many gay men, if you spoke about your ideas of where and how you two would like to live as you go through the decades. Being open and gay is a pretty new phenomenon, and it would be amazingly informative and helpful, if you could act as role models to assist other gay men who are traveling through their own decades as well. Thank you.

Mike, yes, if we could go back and share why we were traveling to Mexico and Guatemala we definitely would. I think we were a bit more focused on getting “great shots” and make it like an independent film but we realized that was fulfilling and with therapy, I (Adam) have been, how I like to say it, breaking free out of this marble sculpture I’ve built since I was a kid. Thank you for your comment and suggestion. That’s a big bonus for making these videos. ❤❤

I was born in South Africa, then Zimbabwe, Zambia, Congo, Kenya, England, Wales then Canada. I have lived in every province in Canada and have been to the Nunavut Territory and North West Territory. The only part of Canada that I have not been in the Yukon. I now live in BC and I do not want to leave because I finally have a great doctor, a terrific psychiatrist and I had a wonderful support worker. I still see them because I still suffer from Depression and anxiety and have done that for the last 20 years.

Cherry blossoms were beautiful, waterfalls were beautiful and you two and Henry are beautiful! “Settle down” when you are ready! Now, while you are still younger, is the time to travel and explore! From where I sit and what I have seen in your videos over the years, you have “settled down”, just not in the traditional meaning of the term. You both have done a lot of internal work on yourselves and it shows through in what to me feels like videos that have a calmer more peaceful vibe. I love you guys! Take care! Hugs!

Agree. I'm sure there are different kinds of viewers, from different parts of the world, different age groups, different perspectives, and everyone watches for different reasons. For me and my husband, watching vloggers is like watching House Hunters but for ppl's lives -- like a little inside peek into how other regular ppl live behind the scenes. I mean, friends IRL share those things too, but you never actually see what they do when they're by themselves, and that's so fascinating. I guess it's kind of like how the Real World started decades ago. It's a human documentary with ppl you can relate to.

I have been following your channel since shortly after you moved back to the USA. I have watched most, if not all, of your videos from Brazil as well. So I do feel like you are family. And I have NEVER felt that either of you do not appreciate the places where you have lived or visited when you were traveling. I have loved sharing all of your adventures both in your homes and in your travels! And you are both still so young that I know from experience that you will eventually find that special place that touches both of your hearts and works for both of you and you will put down roots and settle down. Until that happens, I say just keep searching! And please keep sharing as I always enjoy your videos. My husband and I are now in our 60's and we settled in the Denver, Colorado area quite a while ago. But the difference is we both moved to Denver from other places before we ever met and both knew we were in the right place for each of us. Then when we met, living in this area was never in question and we are both still happy after 40+ years in this area. It will happen for both of you too! Lots of love and support! 👍🌈❤🧡💛💚💙💜🏳‍🌈

Yes, it'll be tough moving from your current home, but you'll find that permanent home, when it's meant to be! Always appreciate your vlogs, stay safe, well and happy! ❤ 😊 👍

Thank you both for sharing your journey, the positive and the negative. You both, together and individually, have been through so much change, learning, growth, grief, loss, etc. I learned in my therapy journey that as we grow and expand, a new version of ourselves replaces the older version. I learned that we make certain choices at the time with the awareness that we have in that moment (It's the right choice at the time). This is a process. Being in solitude can bring a deeper awareness of shifts that one needs to make to move forward in our lives. Both of you determine what is right for you with in the depth of your soul. No need to explain yourselves. We all have our own roads to take in this life. Thank you for taking us along! Love to you both!

You guys are inspirational for me. You gave me the idea, strength, and being brave to travel and move around as well. I agree with your comment, while your place is absolutely beautiful. It is remote, and in a way lonely. Maybe closer Proximity to Portland would be better. But I remember you exploring the option of different rental places. They are so expensive.

I've been with you pretty much from the beginning. The attraction was yourselves: beautiful, intelligent, alive, and funny. Then you revealed your inner struggles, which surprised me, given your natural gifts, but I should have known no one goes through this life without struggles. I have no advice for you because my whole life has been a search for the truth which I obviously didn't know or know only partially now. But one of your viewers characterization of you as being so restless reminded me of a quote from Saint Augustine of Hippo, "Our hearts are restless until they find their rest in Thee." That hasn't happened to me yet, but the moments I have known his presence were filled with peace, so my goal in life is to learn how to wait on His coming. I expect that embrace to be consumational, the only analogy that's fitting is that it will be a marriage of my soul to HIs. If the churches understood what they're supposed to be reading, gays would be welcomed into the Christian community and the psychological distress suffered by so many homosexuals would be avoided. It won't happen. That you demonstrate goodness and profound feelings while living as intimately as two loving beings should goes a long way in righting the wrongs that society will always inflict. Listen to your hearts because knowing what you want is the first step in fulfilling it.

"Moving again?" makes me reflect how much I can get inspired by your videos to travel inside myself and take important and also strong decisions in terms of moving inside myself constantly. Life is a constant, things change, people need to change too. I know that moving to too many places can become kind of restless, but staying at the same place and don't even make a move... It's even worse.

So happy that you guys have the opportunity to make changes in your life and experience so many adventures wherever you want to. Go move anywhere and as many time you want to. TJ place is only secondary to your relationship. Of your happy together, it doesn’t matter where you live. You’ll know when it’s really time to settle down.

I’ve discovered your Facebook page last year around mid November and I have watched all your videos from the start till the recent one.If I remember properly, your words of affirmation are “Go out and make memories”.That has been your motto for quite some time.Honestly do what works for you as a couple. If you want to buy the house,do so.If you guys are considering to move,do so if that’s what will satisfy you guys.As much as we are your fans and we are always cheering for you,our thoughts about you guys aren’t much relevant in the decisions you guys make. After all you guys are travellers, more of like tourists, something I plan on doing by myself or with my partner when the time arrives and you guys have always invited us into your journey of which we are grateful for ❤Just remember it is your story and you choose how it should be written. To more happily ever after moments 🎉🥂

You don't have to explain anything, it's your life, your story. Home is were the heart is, and that can be all over the world, it's not a fixed place. But the comments will give you new inspiration for a new video. Keep it going, I love watch your video's.

Not being satisfied? That's part of human nature. That's how you grow. There will always be something you see that you don't have but want. Keep searching. Keep growing. I'm with you guys. Change is growth. The alternative is stagnation. Stagnation is death.
