At the end of 2023, after spending five years in Berlin, I decided to move back to Sweden. The decision to move to my boyfriend´s hometown wasn´t an obvious choice. It was a 180-degree change to move from Berlin to a place with around 5000 inhabitants.
In today´s video, I want to talk about the main reasons why I left the big city. Berlin will always have a special place in my heart and therefore I also wanted to share my favourite things about the city. Because I don´t think there´s a right answer to where it's best to live. I think it depends on the person and the season of life. But I do believe it´s important to check in with oneself and dare to make a change if one´s surroundings and living situation are feeling off.
I hope this video might be helpful for anyone considering moving away from a big city. But I also hope it can bring some insight to anyone curious about moving to Berlin. It feels like I´ve got more to share about the process of actually moving to Berlin and settling down there, but I will save that for a future video. Let me know if that would be interesting!

Hi! I´m Klara Li and I´m an artist and songwriter. I love all things creative like books, art and music. But I´m also a huge fan of organisation, productivity and self-development.
