I was in the middle of finalizing my divorce, started my journey to sobriety, I met someone, I got pregnant and now my baby is 9 months old. And your channel has always been my main channel to go to. It's crazy because i watched the first episode the day it came out when i was just 13 years old and remember sitting on the couch telling myself that i'm going to follow this all the way and here we are, 16 years old and they are finally moving in and haven't missed a single episode😂

Honestly I didn’t have a horrible time during the pandemic, but looking forward to a new “abandoned mansion” video every once in a while did make the last couple years fly by, I can’t believe it’s been 2.5 years

It's crazy that I've seen every episode for the last 3ish years. And you don't notice the kids grown up until you go back to the very first house up on the hill episode and then you see it. And it just shows you how quick they grow up. Next we will be seeing the renovating abandoned broncos for each of the kids. A fleet of broncos.

Finally. We don’t even know you, personally, but we all feel invested in your new home. Easy to say that 10 million people have been waiting for this day.

This might be my favorite Off the Ranch episode of them all. Finally seeing the house move-in ready, and the dream actually being realized, but I also felt like this was truly a family vlog. I imagine this is what the Carriker is like most of the time. I love Matt's energy, and I'm constantly amazed by how much energy you actually have, but this felt like more of a laid back, behind the scenes episode, which was really cool. Congrats on the new house, it's been fun watching it all from the beginning! You guys are awesome!

Oh this entire series about the mansion is ADDICTIVE. It's wonderul...and now don't get a gib head but this gentlemen appears to be a vet , a contractor, a father a husband ... and damn hard worker. He can spend an entire day at the vet hospital and come home looking forward to what things he "wants to get done today".... My gosh, I 'm lucky if I can get my husband to get off his duff to do anything... but he is the not the exception, most people who work a full day just want to go home and relax and call it a day. I watched the entire series before I found out who he was, and thought this guy has to be a contractor...he can do it all. My question is how the heck did he learn so much about construction, find the abandoned mansion... find such a lovely woman to have chldren with and have the best kids in the world. Doc, you hit it out of the park! (Any suggestions on how to house break a very stubborn shi tzu who refuses to go outside to go potty and he's almost a yar old...and I put him out in the yard...he will be out there (male, lifting his leg on eerything omg...but first male dog I've had that does this also) then comes in the house a poops...I have to stay outside with him due to the eagles and owls which love doggies to eat....and my husky loves this little guy, but I'm out of patience with thisguy...I refuse to give up tho... so any suggestions other then leaving his five poud butt outside all day which is not safe? Mikey is the most stubborn dog I have ever met....and if he does decide he has to go and actually poops which is not often...he's chosen just outside the front door on the "welcome" matt so I step out and you guessed it right into it....arg. I am not giving up or giving in ...damn dog, trying the patients of my last nerve. One old Austinite...keep Austin weird.

I remember this one day in 2019, when this freshly posted video appeared in my recommended section about renovating an abandoned mansion. It wasn't my usual go-to content, but for some odd reason, i clicked on it anyway and now, all of a sudden, almost 3 years has flown by and i feel like my close friends FINALLY moved into their house. What a weird choice that led on a long and wonderful journey, filled with so much fun and joy and positive vibes. What's funny, is i knew from the first posted video, that you guys will end up moving in! So happy for you!

It’s really crazy to think it’s been that long from a viewing standpoint so I can’t imagine how you all feel. I’m actually sad in a sense that it’s all coming to an end. I don’t typically watch remodeling videos, but any time y’all have done it I do. I think it’s because you show the real stuff, the good and bad. Everybody else focuses on showing off the new things instead of the bad too. Showing both makes it that much better seeing the transformation.
