I just turned 31 and still living in our fam's home, and I would never regret it in life. Never kong iisipin na nasayang yung time na sana para sa freedom and independence ko, kung family ko naman ang reason bakit ako nagsstay pa sa bahay namin. Yes naisip ko mag abroad, or kumuha ng sariling place para may privacy ako, but lagi kong naiisip na mas panghihinayangan ko sa future yung times na hindi ko iispend with my parents. Kaya sinusulit ko. Nandun ako until the last breath of my father, and I will forever treasure it. Maybe marami sa atin gusto maggrow naman, or lumabas sa comfort zone by living separately, those reasons are also valid. For me lang, single and no kids yet, still I chose to stay with my mom hangga't buhay pa sya, hangga't may energy pa sya to bond with us. Ang personal growth buong buhay nman natin yan, all seasons pwede maggrow, may sailing place ka man o wala. Pero ang buhay ng parents natin, bilang na lang. So thank you Anna. For reminding me that family is the most important. 😊

Yes family first. I made that hard decision too. Choosing between work in a position ive dreamt about but no time with the fam or WFH job that pays equally but only as a junior member of a team. Although i lost tatay due to a massive heart attack just last week. But i never regretted that i made that choice. He was 86 but i knew in my heart that he was happy to see me everyday.
