i moved out at 16 (i’m now 17) i live with my boyfriend and i can proudly say it was the best decision i have ever made, i have more freedom and can be myself, i’ve discovered who i am as a person and i’ve had more responsibility like buying food for the week looking after the house i live in etc and it’s been such a great adventure, i’ve learnt so much and so many key life lessons xx Good luck Issey 😊❤️

I know you get a lot of hate for moving out at 16 especially if people don’t know the reason. I feel like most people will think that this is a spontaneous decision but i do believe that you thought about this for a long time and you might as well be an inspiration for many young people who are from a toxic/abusive home. I simply wish you the best and hope you’ll be happy! So excited to see your videos in your house

A bit different situation but I’m moving out in September to university at 18 and I’ve never been away from home all my life I’ve been prepared how to cook, clean, be sensible with money and now it’s coming to it the excitement to move out and get away from your home town makes you realise life has so much more too it looking forward to seeing your new journey! 🤍

Thing is I can relate because I'm moving out this November as I'm 16 in June and can't wait but I feel like there's a lot I will miss but can't wait to go more onto my journey and can't wait to see you going on your journey too!

I couldn’t imagine leaving the house at 16. I’m scared about what I’m going to do even temporally going to a college dorm for a few months the year after next year. Major props to you for having the courage to leave so young.

Unless your parents buy you a car, you will most likely spend all of your money on a car first. I’m 17 in September, I dropped out of high school and now I’m doing a double diploma which I go to the campus for three days a week and I work three days a week. I spent all the money I had saved on a car because my parents weren’t going to buy me one. Now I’m saving to hopefully move out in 6 months. I hope your parents buy you your first car other wise it’s just not realistic, especially if you stay in high school

I'm 16 as well although I don't think I will be living on my own until couple more years, I'm trying to get my education first:) but it's so mind-blowing that a person same age as me will be moving out at 16 that would be so amazing though! I have a huge respect for people who leave their parent’s house at a young age. In my culture we leave after we get married or when we want to. I’m moving out now and I’m 33 and even though I’m older than a lot of people who move out, it’s still scary. I can’t wait to have my alone time and privacy, but I’ll also miss having my family around me, and I just love the house so I’ll miss it s lot. I know it will be SO lonely, but i have to do this because I need privacy and my own space even if it’s much smaller.
