@cassie101 it's just the way HUD does things. It's definitely a process! I know because I'm going thru this right now..I transferred my voucher from MI to NC .they gave me 60 days to find an affordable apartment house that was within my price range. Gotten a RFTA packet.took to the land lord to fill out then given it back to housing for them to review it...they denied it because they determined I couldn't afford the rent and the property wasn't trying to reduce to price to make it affordable. When something doesn't fall thru, keep going to get a new RFTA packet to have another landlord to fill out once u pass ur back ground criminal etc
