When you say that you guys get 4 seasons, do you really get the color of the leaves changing in the fall and the spring kind of feeling like spring, with summer starting a little later than maybe some of the other southern Florida cities? When I almost moved to Tampa I was told there are only two seasons down there, summer starting around April and ending in November and then they go right into winter. Lol. Thanks for this cool video and shedding some light on the Jacksonville area.

Thank you for watching! Honestly, the answer to this question probably varies by person. We do get leaves changing in the fall, and definitely feelings of spring! February is our coldest month which I consider "winter" but of course no snow!

Moved here from Portland, OR. Winters here in Jax are much more bearable. 3 to 4 months here are pretty humid and hot, but for me more tolerable than the 9 months of cold, clouds and rain in OR. And affordability? In Portland $400,000 in a decent neighborhood gets you a small fixer home if your lucky.

@@valeraizotov1809 The housing market here is also booming. We accepted a full price offer for our home in less than 48 hours. Currently building in a community called “etown”. @@valeraizotov1809 Not any more windy than other places I’ve lived. Of course during a storm it can get windy like any other place. wow...you nearly got me sold. Greetings from Portland, OR. We are wanting to move to FL within a year and was set on this summer but plans have change. It was looking like moving in Dec would happen but I don't want to wait that long so hoping by Fall or late spring. I am trying to get a transfer to a trucking company there but I have to fly out and see if this where I want to work at because Orlando and Tampa...heck..there's 18 terminals I could choose from. But I like Jax due to it distance to VA is closer where my sisters live. We all were born in southern calif but moved to Oregon so I got some surfer blood in me. I don't like the cold but having a 4 season is nice to know which is why my wife prefer Jax area. How do I make contact with you with MLS listing? I was thinking of St. Johns area but NO HOA...had horror experience with them. Thank you for this video.

@@RealEstateWithEm well...I came to visit Jacksonville beach...stayed July 7-10 and had a great time at the beach and really enjoyed the differences of watching a sunset from the wrong way! (West Coaster here). I also traveled to Boyington, Hollywood beach, Orlando, Tampa, Clearwater and Ruskin areal and Jacksonville I think will win the deal even though my heart is in Tampa. My timeline of moving to Jacksonville may be delayed as the job position I'm interested in I have to upgrade my skills. I have to have a CDL license to transfer to any places in FL since they don't want dock workers only. So we'll see how that works out. Thank you for keeping me in touch. I'll email you asap.
