Thank you! We are excited as well. It’s taken almost a year to get to this point but hopefully we will be out there this fall.

The main reason for heading East is to raise our boys there. Ontario is overcrowded and becoming a place we’d rather not live in. We had to make a move and the east coast was an easy choice. Building new definitely has more challenges than we expected but we hope to be pouring concrete soon and make the move later this year!

We love our newly built home here. The last place we’d want move to would be back to Ontario. But NS definitely isn’t for everyone.

Are you referring to Kemptville Ontario? If so I don’t watch the news and didn’t hear anything about them. As for sunshine, if you are referring to Nova Scotia I haven’t spent a summer here yet. I’m not a huge fan of direct sunshine as I worked construction for years and hated my skin baking in it all day. It sucks.

@@TheRuralDad no, I refer to Kemptville in Nova Scotia, they had wildfires last summer, in the video you mentioned it and I assumed you were already in Nova Scotia.

@@fedorbutochnikow5312 oh I was just doing some clearing while I had time off work but I do remember the wildfires here. I’m up by the bay of fundy though now.

@@TheRuralDad I am currently working with a nova scotian realtor to buy me some land there, but I find the process rather slow, is it not reasonable of me to be giving offers 20-30% lower than the asking price on vacant land? I'm not even picking anything nice, just desolate acreage with no old growth and questionable access, she makes it sound like everybody wants land in nova scotia and i just can't trust her, what are your thoughts?

@fedorbutochnikow5312 I bought 20 acres under asking price here. There will likely be more land coming up in the spring. I’m in the Annapolis valley. I really like it here. Wolfville is beautiful and close to New Minas where many of the larger shopping stores are. Tons of farmers markets in that area as well. There’s also lots of little villages along the Bay that are quite nice. I definitely recommend a trip to check out some places that you think you might be interested in first. The view up on the North Mountain is nice and there are usually some places for sale.
