The last property we viewed on our trip in May 2022 was our favourite. We travelled over 2,000 miles viewing more than 10 properties around central Portugal in the search for our new home and in this video we think we've found it...BUT there's a twist because when we came back to purchase the farm in August 2022 Joseph (aka Farmer For Fun) had one more property for us to see before we made our mind up.

What an amazing video,I must say the property gave me goose bumps,what a beautiful place and close to Joseph and off course Fundao,A beautiful part of Portugal.All you,d need is a couple off Estrela mountain dogs to make the place complete.Hopefully we will be at a show in the village off Alpedrinha not far from Fundao, later this year ,will certainly try and meet up.Hope all goes well and glad to see you got home safely.Can,t wait for the next video.

It’s the best property we’d seen on our trip in May 2022. Ticked so many boxes the only downside is that the land didn’t have many fruit trees but we overlooked that as we were just so in love with the property 😍 exactly that! We plan to get a couple of dogs when we are ready 👍 oh nice, keep us updated and for sure we’ll see you there 😃 thanks so much yes there’s a bit of a twist as we see one more property before we make our mind up 👀

Each bike gets its own room, land for days, nice view, bigass fireplace, man cave to put a pool table, storage/barracão do tamanho do mundo, space for dogs, sheep, horses, elephants if you can find them.. If he leaves 3, 4, 50 bottles behind that could be home

Yep amazing storage for our machines 🚙 🏍️ and I would like to get 1 horse 🐴 shhh don’t tell Jonny 😉 we can really see a games room in the lower part of the house 😎 we have 2 dogs but plan to get a couple of Serra de Estrellas and perhaps a few sheep too 😃👍

Beautiful place, this.....I certainly can see the appeal. The value in seeing an upgraded property over that of when starting with a parcel and ruins is of value.... of coarse the price would reflect how things shift in that context as well. Other than the shop, parking, bikes and racks and given the types of properties viewed it appears that you’re open minded in terms of the lifestyle in mind? Or is that an indication of remote work and the property would be space in which to build and operate as you see fit over time? Farming, Livestock? I can say I appreciate your taste in potentials and value the travel on bikes..... nothing better! On this place what is the altitude? I’m thinking in terms of heating and cooling as both the house and the outbuilding are so big. I’m still thinking along the lines as if you might consider being a destination spot for other riders as well, as its a spot I’d look to visit and in meeting some great people. Being back in the US at the moment I’m also back in cars a great deal though am headed to do much the same as you have on this trip in central Portugal and in general the “midlands” if you will in terms of altitude. I look forward to catching your progression and how life comes together for the two of you.

Hey! Thanks so much for your comment 😃 The kind of lifestyle we are looking for is farm life, growing our own food and raising animals but still having a bit of time for the mechanics that we are interested in 🚙 I also work as a freelance video editor but I’m noticing that our KZfaq channel is demanding quite a bit of time so we’ll have to find a balance and want to prioritise farm work as well as KZfaq 😃👍 We think the altitude is around 500 metres. We are considering creating a spot for bikers (and non bikers) to stay and you’d be welcome to stay of course 😃 Are you planning a trip to central Portugal soon? Thanks for watching 😃👍

Guys what can I say? Great house and an amazing view 😃 Fundão has really nice houses/properties and on top of that such a great landscape! Taking in account that you are close to Joseph, you've got all the conditions to have a great life there 😃 Can't wait for the next video! @@davidmelo2366 yes the cherries grow so well in Fundão 🍒 and it’s cherry season now they are fantastic 😃👍 oh for sure it’s a more serious note to stay hydrated it’s about to get very warm as you know 🍻 we love the river beaches here too there’s some great local ones

Careful, those cork oaks can't be cut down (rare exceptions, ICNF is the entity to contact to get informed about it), they are protected species.

I notice no heating, just think carefully guys....it gets damn cold in winter. A fire isn't going to warm the whole house. And keeping on top of all that land too !! Nightmare. A nice property for sure, but you will need help.

Bizarre not knowing the price upfront? Perhaps keeping your cards closer to your chest when viewing by not saying how wonderful the property is, as the owner will know to push up the price.
