I think a large rug pad for that rug would be a better idea than tape, I feel like it’ll give it more grip and keep it evenly on the floor, also will add another layer underneath so it feels/looks more like a rug, because as it is I personally think that it looks like a bedspread. It’s coming along nicely though! I also live in a tiny space and always looking at good storage opportunities.

Love what you did with your space. A tip for the picture and the metal thing you want to cover up. Just use magnets and glue them on the back of the frame then it will stick to the thing on the wall 😊

The bed in the loft would be so cozy! Would be cute with a little dining nook behind the wardrobe, and I really dont recommend having a desk against the window, it would block all the sunlight.

The curtain would look better if you tea or coffee dyed it. I thought hot glueing it was a creative solution. Try jacking your bed up a bit with risers and take advantage of space underneath it. You can buy ikea drawers for this or baskets. Some shelves on your walls will help with making it feel more homey and give you even more space for styling.

Bed upstairs also makeup station. Pillows on the window ledge for seating and plants. Your room willook much bigger.

Don't know how you feel about peel and stick wall paper, but there are so many colors patterns and prints that it could be a lovely addition of color to your living room

I would put the wardrobe against the window opposite the bed. It will block the light while sleeping. You could purchase a folding divider that extends all the way from the bed to the wardrobe - it could be one with a lovely pattern or artwork serving as a wall of art. You could choose to put the sofa against the divider if you decide to mount the tv on the wall next to the stairs or get a small console table. Get a cute oversized wall mounted mirror for the wall to reflect and bounce off light around the room.

I liked the way you placed the furniture, but a tip is, when you draw on paper, draw in centimeters on a scale of 1:100 (in the ruler 1 centimeter = 1 meter), which makes it much easier to visualize the space, to better see how things will fit together.

Hermione, the flat is coming together beautifully, it’s going to look super cool! One idea to break up the space and all the light neutral tones a little: you could add a wooden/bamboo partition between the bed and the sofa, and add a narrow wooden bench at the end of the bed for books and whatnot.

@AlexandraGater just did a tiny loft make over and I think they bed set up would work well for your flat. The IKEA shelves (kallax cubes) could go between your sofa and bed. They would give division but also storage space and act as a night stand and sofa table all at once. Then you can use her idea of curtains for more room division. I like how you turned the wardrobe, and even though you don't love the curtain I think its a great idea. The curtain makes it so there is less visual clutter. Also IKEA has under bed storage/drawers you could use to store seasonal items or anything else you need to store.

Hi..how are you..there you go,.. that's the idea I had in mind when I was looking at that vision of the bedroom layout..🌼downstairs..I believe in many bed or bedroom relaxing areas for sleep in a apt..or house rooms.etc. the only thing needed to separate.. the screen..yes and lots more decorating with color if you like..😁

Hot glue was a good idea for the curtain hem. My recommendation would be iron -on Vylene Think that’s what it’s called.

A gallery wall on the wall on the side of your bed would look so good!

How about finding a screen (shoji??) or making one or a tapestry for behind the couch to add color and hide the weirdly placed electronic door. Or a lot of 8x10 frames glued together and it could be a cover as well as an art statement. You can vary pic sizes within by implementing mats of different sizes to match the print size (they're pretty easy to duplicate with poster board). You could place a long rod at the ceiling line to hang the tapestry or the pic frames. I assume you're not putting the furniture in front of the windows to enjoy the view???

Hang a curtain on your wardrobe, it will prevent your clothes from getting dusty. And contrary to others opinion, it does look like a rug. You can paint a design on it for another pop of colour. Oops, should have waited for the end to comment.

i was thinking about it over and over, because i saw that cherry-print in one of your previous vids. i don't want to be negative, but maybe you don't know it so i should tell you... the cherries carry the numbers 8 and 8. in certain circles the 88 is very "famous" because it makes the people in that circle say something in code that they - in some countries - could go to jail for if they actually used the words behind it (like in germany for good, good reasons). in short, nationalsocialists use the 88 as replacement for the letters HH which refer to a "famous" (disgusting) nazi-chant. i know this is bad, but since i am so sure that you are not aware of this (i do believe the number on this specific print means something completely different to you!), i felt like i had to tell you. i am very sorry for being so negative and i am sending you lots of love! 💜
