Men of War Assault Squad 2 - Baron and Sherman play as the Germans on D-Day and defend against the American Invasion of the beaches of Normandy as they attempt to get through the Atlantikwall that Nazi Germany built to defend France from an Allied Invasion.

+BaronVonGamez xD yeah... and the guy said "bleibt in Bewegung" that means: "keep moving!" also: "Brandenburger" means "people from the country 'Brandenburg'" in this case... Germany is separated in 16 countries, one of which is called "Brandeburg", which is the area surrounding Berlin. just to complete that information: the whole of Germany is actually a federal alliance, where the alliance law ("Bundesrecht" - "Bund" = Alliance, "Recht" = law) stands above the law of the different countries... so right now it's more like a democratic federation of German states^^ also little more side info: Hamburgers are actually called after the ship "Hamburg". she was a liner that traveled between Germany and the US and was called after the German harbor-city "Hamburg".

The Germans thought that the Allies would attack at high tide because its a short distance from the beach to the land. Those 'posts' were intended to be underwater to destroy Allied landing craft. However the Allies attacked at low tide so those post mines were useless.

The missions were updated several times. So some aspects differ from version to version. A moveable Arty killed the balance on this mission.
