Great video! I'm debating which one to get, you made good points for both. But it sounds like if you go with Impala you might as well get the Moxis because you'll spend extra $ swapping the wheels for something gummier.

I'm not looking to do roller derby or anything at a skate park. Just a gal who wants to get back into skating around the neighborhood and local rink. Are moxie skates okay for indoors or would it be better to just buy indoor wheels for when I want to skate at a rink?

I’m 7.5/8 with a kinda fat foot and 8 Impala was too big. I still have a little wiggle room in my size 7’s. I went according to the size chart for my Moxi lolly’s, I pray they fit when they finally arrive.

I just got the Rose gold Impala skates! My first pair of skates! I wanted to know if impala skates are good for outdoor skating. I’ve only skated in a hockey rink but was planning to also skate on the street or near the beach but it sounds like I may have to change the wheels.

Interesting because I'm usually a 8.5 to nine and tried on the impalas and they were too loose and very uncomfortable. Even the eights were loose and rentals felt better. Which was a bummer because I wanted the Holographic ones. Sure grip has been around forever and has a great reputation so I went with those. They were also $150 cheaper so I could get new bearings and light up wheels for the rink.

Hi Miss Tiffany do you have the crazyskate brand Glam and Glitz skates iv only just started to learn to skate again in my 40s and my 1st pair iv bought is purple Glams and I love them i have a pair of silver impalas coming for a Xmas present hopefully this week im in Western Australia

My impalas fit lovely no size issues but I don’t have a wide feet either so that might be the difference

Great vid hon but you should have compared specs as far as bearings and plates to add a lil more depth.

So I just order the impalas holographic skates they will ship/ be delivered in under 3 weeks. Then I saw the videos about them not paying people of color until they were called out for it . Also keep hearing people say they mess up quickly I’ve never skated in roller skates and been inspired to so..... I did something crazy and ordered the watermelon ( pink ) moxi beach bunny’s from roller skate nation as a back up they will ship in a few days . Thanks for this video still may cancel my impalas

I sized down as well, I’m a 10 in women’s shoes but 9 in the moxi skates!

I'm a flat footer lol. Every time I rented skates at the rink, I had to size up to a 9 (size 8 shoe) even though they were too big and wear extra socks because the 8s would KILL my feet. For a flat footer buying a Moxi skate, what would you recommend?

Just get the Moxi Rainbow Rider and you’ll have a pair for just 99$ that are perfect for beginners (not for parks though, from what I’ve heard). I just ordered mine and hope they’ll be good for me!

I’m so late to the party! Wish I saw this video before I bought my Impalas. I haven’t skated in years though so I’m sort of a beginner... also moxi skates are sold out! :/ I plan to go to my local park and skate on the side walk and tennis court, do you think that’ll be fine with my impalas?

So, I always wanted to start roller skating and I finally decided to start now at 21 (almost 22 in few months) But since Friday night, I've been having the anxiety of Wich one I can choose, I was literally purchasing and canceling the order on Amazon because of anxiety and insecurity of Which skates are the best. First I was going to buy Chicago's, but then,I saw many reviews that says they are crap, then I saw many reviews that Impala's are better and found videos where people say Impala's are better than Chicago's, so I decided to pay extra an ordered a beautiful pair of pink and yellow Impala's skate for 85$. Then after I placed the order for the Impala's at Amazon, I started see many negatives reviews for the Impala's on internet saying that Moxie are better. I decided to just go ahead and keep the order for the Impala's since this is driving me crazy and I do not have the money for Moxi at the moment and I really want to start learning this. However, I'm still feel a little unsure if I made a good selection tho...

Hello! What the reason is you think you did the right thing by starting with the Impalas and then going up to the Moxis? Tiffany, Just a lil marketing advice. I was hoping you would have gave the skates away in a contest. Ask your followers to share your videos, tag ppl, repost etc. Then after a month or 2 of free advertisements then you pick the follower who won !! (Make sure they create a video t s/o you out first the free skates and tell others to check out your page 😉) Win-win for everyone but mostly you. Anyways, moxis are absolutely amazing. im planing to buy myself a pair of lollys for my 15th birthday, (a nice upgrade from the beach bunnies in my opinion). i have been using my beach bunnies for a year and a half now, and theyve been holding up so well. I just ordered some new wheels, laces, ad toe stops, just to spruce my skates up. Moxi skates are definitely an investment worth making.

I got both right of the bat and I didn’t like the impala ones at all . I have the moxi jungle bunnys as well I love them as a starter skate . To me i can’t even compare these moxi is just on another level. It’s a shame because impalas are nice looking but just a waste of money .
