@@medellpr well you never know, they might do what the valheim devs have done and just coast off their victory. They're making absolute bank off this game that realistically they wouldn't even have to expand on this game at all (even though it'd still be smart to). This is one reason why i'm not big on the whole "early access" trends, although it does help tons of indie companies and there is a ton of fantastic early access games. I just hope this game doesn't fall into early access hell or barely get updates like valheim.

​@@RipperKZfaqOfficialif you are missing any ingredients to repair anything, the Y button won't work. Like, if you are one cloth/nail/organ short of the total needed to repair everything, it won't repair anything, and you will need to manually go through and repair.

I always use this trick is so helpful

Another way you can do this is by just dropping your wounded pals on the floor, filling your party, and then picking up your wounded pals.

​@@hendrikhustensaftsee that's what leads me to believe that sorting resetting timers is a bug and not meant to happen, so it'll probably be patched out in the future. So let's all enjoy that convenience while it lasts 😅

You can also just drop particular items on the ground and pick them back up to reset the timer. I keep my inventory manually sorted with stuff I always have on me at the bottom so new items I pick up are separated at the top, so using the sort button was painful for me.

not sure if it was updated or patched, but now it'll keep it as if youre encumbered & wont decrease the amount of weight on you, but it works if you put it in a chest and do your exact comment, you can "transfer" from 1 chest to the other without being encumbered

@nox_echo I don't have they guy in camp but I believe I found him. 150 a bullet I think it was. Assault rifle ammo flys... I am sitting on over 100k in money now, with not much to do with it. What will that get me... 667 rounds. Brush that is still expensive. I can blow through 500 rounds in an afternoor.

try riding up and down the shore from the TP leading up to univolt/lunaris and sniping the celerays with whatever mount u have. its fun and fast :)

I have a way better location for pal fluids - the beaches behind the starting spawn. Tons of low level water pals.

also on palterminal the side that does contain the pal sphere you can access it there to but even better you can build chest very close to the terminal on that side. and you mostly spawn on that side when teleport from another base from that side out. so overload yourself and simply unload your inventory fast in the new base. pro tip: keep walking distances short for your pals the less walking the more working. you can build multiple feeding baskets also beds doent need to be on 1 location. if you harvest ress build chests close to the ress spots so the ress can respawn but the pals will not have to walk far instead can sometimes even stay at the chest and pick up stuff around them. the working tier shwon in the pal description for example crafting 1-4 stands for the the multipler if the recired workforce is divided by 1-4 so the higher the better. insted of needing 4 human crafters 1 anubis ist just as fast as them. also make shure that specific tasks are covered by single ability pals (those that only have 1 work capebility like seeding or watering or harvest) so you can make shure that task will allways be made nomatter what. also as mentioned do food in 1 base only so you can focus abilitys better and dont distract you pals with multiple abilitys if there is nothing to harvest a tombat will only do mineing and transporting, if no mineing trhen only transporting. also you only need seeding and harvest in 1 base. saves a lot of pals slots and since you produce all food in 1 base you can craft higher meals that give mor food and happyness which then makes your other bases more efficient cause pals need less time to eat refill more food (have to less often return to the foodbasket) and also loosing slowewr their happyness or even gainig some back so need less time to relax. micromanagments like there have a hughe impact on the limitation on pals per base, default is 15 the highest stting is 20 pals per base only.

I also thought about just using slanted roof pieces instead of stairs since they connect to each other without additional support. Not sure what the limit is though.

You just have to have the foundation on the ground and then can build stairs as high as you want, only connected to other stairs, or roof platforms etc. as long as your own foundation is somewhere below. I'm unsure what you're talking about with the wall, as I've been doing this right along and never have had a wall involved. I'm guessing that you're talking about an old version where you needed a wall to place the stairs, and I started to play more recently after that was changed, as I've never had to use a wall to be able to start to place them up.

@@nickthompson6535 you can turn off the degradation, letting you build outside of the blue ring, which just links all of your storage boxes together for ease of access to materials. Build outside of the ring and you have to have the materials on hand.

I did this with the deer, cause he has a move where he charges forwards long distances. Very helpful for transporting!

you can get 15% more if you get legend on it i managed to breed a ton of jetragons for legend/runner/swift/nimble and i have a frostallion noct with lucky/swift/ferocious/legend i also got legend on a cattiva, im going to make a really OP cat as soon as i roll the right damage buffs.

@@nox_luna if you 4 star your fenglope with the condenser you will get an extra 20% movement speed bonus too, so the max speed bonus you can get on a fenglope is 95% which is nuts

@@questionsayer I only "Floor" my main base as it makes all the breeding and production stuff easier. If you floor your ore bases it blocks the ore spawns. sadly just going to have to deal with glitchy pals on those.

To further add on to this advice, have a beegarde and mau in the ranch to produce honey and money respectively. Combine this simple trick with selling off old gear or schematics you no longer need, treasure items you find in dungeons and the like, and maybe selling off some pals to the respective merchants and you'll find that the only thing stopping you from having cake is the time it takes to cook the damn things. This can be circumvented by having a pal with a high kindling skill and boosting their work speed stat at the power statue.

Even better: catch the merchant, you can keep him in your base and still buy everything from him on call.

I've been using the sword in place of my axe too for the odd time you need to cut down a tree

@@John-gw3mj The spear works slightly better because of range. It gives you the flexibility of auto collecting or picking up items.

@PixelleHearts sword is actually stronger than the spear, so you're trading a little range for more dmg. Spear is 450 dmg sword is 500+

Do those overlapping bases share all materials? I kind of hate moving mats between bases.

Can't overlap bases unfortunately...I was hoping to make a venn diagram base, but you get an error message about being too close. It forces about 2 foundations worth of space between the circles. Ended up with 2 bases side by side, one for raw materials and one for assembly. So far it works pretty well and doesn't take too much grappling back and forth

Do you know of a good spot that has iron or some other resource and can also fit two decently sized bases side by side?

@@alguem.. plenty of "optimal base locations" videos around. There are two locations on those that seem to fit that bill for me. Ome is that yellowish-reddish location with two plateus with small elevation - ore was on bottom plateau. Another was that green area with a skill tree next to it on that very small hill.

I think you need something cooling the fridge or it just expires just as fast as the food box.

Cotton Candy and Honey do not have an expiration timer! Just get you a Woolipop and Beegarde and put them in your farm.

make salad. it's a way better food source, your pals spend less time going back and forth to the food box, also it gives a work buff to them

I ride around on Rayhound and use Shockwave. Dunno if it's ultimately faster than Ozerk with his double drops though.

Tbh, I catch them in reg pal spheres, then butcher em at base. Double the rss with minimal extra work

Ozerk also has the partner skill that increases drops from water pals so good choice!

@@tonykeally1039 So if you do the item swap glitch with your slader, you get the serial T-pose. But if you then take a gloder pal like Hangyu or Galexlaw into your party, then glide with it, then put it in the box, you keep the pet glide special buffs while t-posing through the air.

You're bad and you should feel bad. Now that that's done, you should go play and do some of the tricks and then later show someone else and that spreading knowledge will make everything alright. :)

That's helpful at the beginning of the game, but most things degrade in 10 minutes or less outside of a fridge. So you have two choices, you either carry all of your food around and open your inventory every 9 and a half minutes to resort it. Or you go back to your base every 9 and a half minutes to do it. Just make a fridge. They're cheap, you can power it for basically free with a Mau Cryst or a Jolthog Cryst with a hunger reduction trait, and increases most perishables spoil timers to over 200 minutes. That's long enough that you just don't have to worry about it anymore.

Yeah but you have to do that roughly every 9min before it expires which make the coolers useful imo since it changes that to every 298min you would have to.

I saw another comment that said just switching weapons resets the cooldown on grapple hook
