It’s a song that’s asking people what happened to the Holy Spirit inside church ? So they are basically praising and inviting the Holy Spirit to come down and save its people. Those drums are a direct connection between us , God and the ancestors. If you are Yoruba then you will understand what I mean , the drums self dey talk to God. They are using it to wake up the holy spirit that’s within us.

Drumming is a giving 🎉 Sabu used to drum at my old church. That man has passion and an anointing. He would minister using drums and just do things to the songs that touched one’s spirit. He is simple the best drummer SA has. Especially in the gospel genre.

For me it's how the song calms down when it starts giving emphasis on the Holy Spirit. The drummer and choir are doing the most when they are singing about other spirits but become softer when singing about the Holy Spirit. It's so telling that when the Holy Spirit enters, calmness is experienced. The gentleness of the Holy Spirit brings calmness. Ah!! Beautiful!!

Yohhhh B. Benjanim Dube has really done something with the creation of Spirit of Praise.. Blessed be the fruit of his labour.. Ayanda's voice is amazing, I literally had to listen to this song 3 times.. the sound and band, backing singers!!!! Tjerrrr!!! I don't even know whether to laugh of cry listening to this song.
