As a kid my dad told me "he had read" that you get smarter (your learning ability improves) when you listen to Mozart, so while studying for the most important test in school I listened to Mozart for weeks, and also while doing the test. I failed super hard, but had a great time listening to Mozart.

Mozart Effect. My grandmother, rest her soul, believed in this so much she played cassettes of Mozart when she babysat me as a toddler. It is probably why I got into piano at age 6 to be honest. Thanks Halidon Team!

My dad loved classical music. Who doesn’t love Amadeus Mozart? I remember when my dad was in a hospice, we turned on the television to the classical music station. I am pretty sure that they were playing Mozart. He must have been listening for about two weeks. I hope he enjoyed the music. We are so sorry to see him go, but at least dad didn’t suffer much. The hospice was good to him and the nurses were good to him. Dad’s mind was not really there, so I wonder if someone can enjoy their favorite music after a horrible stroke.

I can remember visiting my grams, they had nothing but classical playing all the time, felt so bored and yet oddly at ease. But eventually I got very bored, so was sent out to roam the country side, of course this was a time we could. Now I use this type of music to focus. Blessings.

When I was pregnant with my children, I listen to Mozart and put the tape recorder close to my stomach. I also played the tape while they were asleep. They did well in school. I guess a person need to do it at a young age..

No me habia enterado de que los compositores escribian musica para que los oyentes „se relajen“……ellos hubieran quizas recomendado el yoga, la meditacion, los paseos por el bosque…mas que escuchar a sus composiciones, no…? Yo dejaria de componer si me enterara de que mi musica „relaja“…. Como la gente cree que entiende o que „disfruta“ algo de musica y lo que se les ocurre es decir el disparate de que buena musica tiene una funcion „relajante“…. Repugnante.
