DESCRIPTION
I had so much fun arranging Mozart´s masterpiece “Eine kleine Nachtmusik” (also named “Serenade in G”) on something different than a usual acoustic guitar: a BANJO GUITAR.
I like the idea of playing classical music on an instrument which is typically used for other kinds of repertoire.
The cool, little violin bow you see in the video is called “Pickaso Guitar Bow”, and it´s designed for regular acoustic guitars. To check out this product, visit this link: www.pickasobow...

He's actually playing a guitar. Look closely at the neck, It's not a banjo where the one string & associated turner is shorter than the rest. It's a standard 6 string guitar neck attached to a banjo body. It sounds awesome. The tunings between a banjo & a guitar are different. Knowing how to play a guitar doesn't translate to knowing how to play a banjo. Some can play both obviously, but this fellow, although his guitar playing is excellent, he isn't playing the banjo.

It's called a hammer-on. Watch any metal guitarist tap while unplugged. It takes quite a bit of practice, but it isn't impossible. Herman Li plays the guitar like a piano, and taps like a champ. Kurt Hammet uses blues variant tapping arpeggios rather well, too.

I absolutely love it. I saved money and bought a guitar, now I am lost on how to actually learn how to play it as I don't have lots of money to invest at this moment. It is very inpiring to see that level of mastery is actually possible. I will probably be slow and waste time by learning things the hard way but by the grace of God, one day I will be able to play well too.
