The first time I heard this played was at the Grahamstown Festival (South Africa) in the early 1980s. Afterwards I approached the soloist and told him that if I could die listening to his rendition of this magnificent piece, I would die happy. It is transcendent in its beauty and my soul soars whenever I have the privilege of listening to it. I buried my beloved husband and cherished soulmate three months ago today and Kalle Randalu's rendition is soothing my seared soul. Thank you, Mozart. Thank you, Kalle Randalu.
