I was trying to find a battery for the MPC so i can use it on the couch (i have a little deck where it usually is). I can't find those battery on the links on the Spanish Amazon or anywhere else. I ended up getting another ac so I can plug it near the couch. Gonna check this one out for sure! Thanks

Im using a "car power" DC to DC adapter - cig lighter style - and its 12v to 19v - into my portable "solar power generator" - i was so happy when it worked. it's on amazon.

I might have to get that for the Akai Force.I love My X and my Live 2, but that arranger mode is dope.

Thanks to your videos I bought the same battery for my One Retro I just got. Wondering however, how can you tell how long the battery will last without ripping it off the velcro on a running machine? I'm planning to install my battery also on the bottom, but with the battery display facing down, so I only have to turn the machine to get a glimpse of the remaining power. I know it's probably dangerous for the display glass, but I'm going to use some rubber feet on the battery case to protect the display.

I have that battery and a jbl speaker and its great. Super cheap lap top bag from goodwill has a 12 inch section that looks like it's made for it.I definitely dont want a inturnal battery until they make a few standards that are easy to to buy for a reasonable price and easy to replace yourself.

Maybe with the right exclosure a similar mod can be done with a SSD or two to get that front of the mpc level with the battery. Maybe you can get a just about even bottom surface. I'd never think about that with a harddisk, but SSD drives are not mechanical at all. Even put a USB hub under it. The goal is to carry the least stuff as possible, just grab and go. I wish I knew what I was doing it's very easy to attach a hub internally and to reroute the port outside. SSD's are small enough to mount inside the MPC. Heat dissipation shouldn't be a problem because it already has holes and the files are put in ram anyway.

yo i just got an mpc one plus and i was wondering because it needs 12v could i use my car's 100w 12v plug with my original power cable that came with my unit?

I use Ripcord USB 19V and 20W baseus powerbank with USB1 / USB2: 5V / 3A, USB in powerbank must be 3A to work without problems. I also have an MPC attached, a 500GB drive that has additional power from another powerbank, it is not an SSD, but a small external one like in a laptop, so it needs its power supply because MPC One will not power it as it is on a powerbank. I had a problem with SD cards many times, so I prefer to connect an external drive to the MPC. Soon it will be changed to SSD and it may then start without additional power supply.

No one has actually confirmed that that battery messes up your MPC just rumors I can believe that it's possible that it can run off of that battery the MPC live has to have a voltage drop that's what makes the battery Get Low when it's fully charged it's probably running at 19 V but once it starts getting low it's not at 19 volts the only way to truly tested if someone has an MPC live when the battery Get Low to test the voltage

There was a post the MPC forum that was electronics illiterate regarding a zip cord and the battery. The zip cord has an boost converter to provide the necessary voltage. The battery provides the necessary current. I've actually have made measurements with a multimeter and everything is fine. Don't believe everything you hear. Measure yourself or find someone who has done the measurements.
