No your lying…. “Body camera data that document an incident when an individual dies as a result of use of force by a peace officer are public no later than 14 days after the incident. If the chief law enforcement officer asserts in writing that the public classification would interfere with an ongoing investigation, then the data remain classified” The incident is still under internal investigation, so the police chief waived the 14 time period, as is his prerogative, until said investigation ends. Just like the reporter said lol.

@@Don-mi6zl probably not, no. The point of giving the police chief the power to delay the release of the full video is so that the ongoing investigation can finish without interference. Also most likely wants it to be in context with the full report of the internal investigation. The police chief has no control over the investigation, as it’s done by the BCA, a state wide agency. So the video will be released after.
