@Elsupermayan88703 жыл бұрын
I have the DVD that was put out back in the mid 2000's and in the sleeve it had a movie trivia. According to what it said, the scene with Roddy McDowell was based on a real teacher who took a gun to class because he was teaching at a very violent school and afraid of his students. I think the school was in New Jersey.

The only movie that truly showed what the 80s was. It wasn’t a family with bowl cuts and matching sweaters. It wasn’t a bunch of squiggles and triangles in every design. It was brutal. More brutal than today’s society because back then, the security measures weren’t good enough to control anything. We did carry weapons in school, all of us did. We did smoke on the bus, and we absolutely beat the shit out of eachother.

It is. Although they're not that different overall, they're two completely different recordings. The album version has slightly better production, but I think I like this version a little bit more than the one on "Zipper Catches Skin". But that could be because I've heard the album version tons more times than this one... so this seems more "new" to me. Either way, it's one of my favorite 80's Alice Cooper songs. I like his early 80's stuff a lot more than anything he did from '86 onward.

They never really were scary. They would be seen as the wannabe gangsters of today. Yknow, the nerdy kids who do whatever the bad kids say in hopes of becoming one of them. The real scary people weren’t in the city. And the real scary people dressed normal. They carried guns instead of gay chains and switchblades, and they didn’t wear high heels or a see through shirt while doing it.
