Mathias Mpuuga (born 12 October 1975) is a Ugandan politician, lawyer, and teacher who served as the Leader of the Opposition from 2021 to 2024. He previously served as a Member of Parliament of Masaka Municipality from 2011 until 2021 and briefly as the Leader of the Opposition. He is the current member of Parliament representing Nyendo-Mukungwe Division, a newly created constituency following the elevation of Masaka Municipality into a city. Mpuuga also serves as Deputy President of the National Unity Platform (NUP) Political party led by Bobi Wine.
Joel Besekezi Ssenyonyi is a Ugandan journalist, lawyer and politician. He is the member of parliament for the Nakawa West constituency in Kampala and the leader of opposition in the Ugandan Parliament, a position that was previously held by fellow member of parliament Mathias Mpuga Nsamba.
Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu known by his stage name Bobi Wine, is a Ugandan politician, singer, and actor. He is a former Member of Parliament for Kyadondo County East constituency in Wakiso District, in Uganda's Central Region. He also leads the National Unity Platform political party. In June 2019, he announced his candidacy for the 2021 Ugandan presidential election.

The was no parliamentary discussion or debate regarding the Mpuga award & the other commissioners except for the likes of Kadaga & Ssekandi which was debated & passed even though it was not right to do!!!!! Also what Hon Ssenyonyi said is true as these thugs have already laid the ground, for example just look at the total numbers of MPs per region!!!! Also they are insecure because Bobi has the hearts of the Ugandan people.

"Olugambo" - spending way too much calories and time on Ugx 500M in a country where Trillions go by unchallenged. The strategy is becoming more reactionary and defensive at a time that calls for offense and focus on the ball. May be NUP should penalize NUP legislators under whose noses this "corruption" is passed without challenge. The party has a duty to scrutinize all these dubious proposals to the floor of parliament and to possibly form and advise a common defiant position to it's MPs. What preventive actions were taken by the party, than waiting to cry foul after. Has the party also failed the members? Or its become a post-mortem party. Perhaps there's even more that has just not come to the surface. This casts doubt on the strategic platform in Party and the preparation required for the coming events.
