The GTA wheel arches are fairly easy to remove/repair/replace. It is a much bigger repair job if you do it to the original wheel arches, as I did with mine once :O

Well, with enough time, money and knowledge you can put anything in it. Not sure this one particular mk2, but I've seen Lupo with 4.2 v8 under hood. But you're right, this one is 1.4l I think, but thoroughly modified.
