The movie should have had a better conclusion. I understand that many women would need saving from their own selves, including the idiotic belief the monster she's hitched her wagon to "is a good man deep down" who really loves her, because sometimes, Olamiju spiced his wickedness with some temporary sweetness. However, I found it crazier that Monife couldn't even provide a solid reason for staying in the marriage. She said it's for the sake of children - the one she never had. And even Olamiju won't leave because he enjoyed it. I thought there'd have been a deeper secret between the couple or something. Violence and the toxicity in the marriage are much worse than Olamiju having an affair with Dr Emma. And which toxic husband follows his victim to such unknown place and take drink with them? Let it be known that marital rape is not recognized by the Nigerian law. The person in charge of the subtitle should take it easy please. Mistakes happen, but this was just too much.
