I just love the production on this record. Every instrument is perfectly positioned in the mix at all points during the song. Everything is clear, crisp, but it’s so tight it sounds like it was recorded live. Very underrated record, this.

My favorite off the Debut Studio album! This song definitely shows the strength of what these guys bring to the table and is surprisingly pretty deep lyrically. Interestingly enough it retroactively became "part 1" of a song trilogy after the 2nd album came out (you'll get to them don't worry 😉) Roxy thank you as always for inviting us into the fold, I'm glad he enjoyed it! Jay apologies for Colonel Sanders' toilet lmao. These weird transitions lead to the next song of the album which is strange enough in context and probably a massive WTF for you 😂 still won't lie, I was cracking up!

I love this live performance, I used to have a bootleg tape of it to listen to in my car when I was in high school and was pleasantly surprised when the video of it appear on youtube (RIP arstyfairie08). As for the drum work, that's Danny Heifetz, an amazing drummer and music runs in his family, his grandfather Jascha Heifetz is considered the best violin player who ever lived. Bungle's performance of Platypus from the same Club Lingerie show has some phenomenal drumming though it is one of the strangest Bungle songs so you might not like it outside of the drumming lol.

What a supersonic song of theirs!..:)) Oh, man, sorry for this final part on the studio version, but I laughed on that part! :D Yeap, a pretty irrational structure of the song, as always (well, almost always, according to the opinion you often emphasize...), but you are slowly getting closer to taking into account their whole philosophy, which means: whole songs taken in general, not just their parts, even though they consist of various parts and despite the fact that you would really slowly become deaf... lol.:)) Their magic in the first place lies in a strange order within the obvious incoherence, which is revealed instinctively, and only then can you find proof of that in the rather rational, and yet artistic lyrics that these songs have.:) Music seems to be some kind of vivid illustration for certain verses, right? ... :) Both the mess and the balance of their art is what makes them so ingenious. :) It`s an acquired taste, but it's quite certain - taste, you dig..? Through this, generally speaking, it all makes sense.;) ...And you could have witnessed the levels of guitar mastery of Trey Spruance as well, in the studio and live version, the one I told you about in the comments for FNM`s `Take This Bottle`...:) Here he more clearly combines different sounds on guitar similar to Mike Patton on vocals...They make this thing `alive`...;) Good review, J. LMAO , "Mr. BUngle". Not a great band, great show though. Caught them at the Warfield in San Francisco. Lots of mayhem, lots of drugs, lots of weirdness. Great show.
